There was a small click and one of the doors opened quietly. Belladonna peeked inside for a moment before resealing the door as quietly as she could and moving to the next.

Shadow squirmed and tried to focus of guarding. As he watched he again searched for her emotions a wave of pain and sadness competing over him as he watched them work on getting the door open. He grew anxious as the seconds ticked by. H strained his ears as he was searched desperately for nothing.

The second door clicked open, but was quickly shut once more, the two moving onto the third door now.
Something shifted in the main chamber.

Shadow grabbed their attention. He offered both of them a pearl explaining in a few signals what was going on and to get out if trouble arose. He returned to his position holding the pouch and his gun at the ready, his fangs bare and his wings outstretched.

Bella started having trouble with the multiple locks of the third door, one of them clattering to the floor before she could catch it. She cursed under her breath, forgetting silence for now and just focusing on getting the last lock open.
There was no sound from the other room.

Shadow jumped at the noise, cringing at the silence. He stood completely still at the ready, watching, waiting for anything. A sound. A sign. A shadow cast across the floor signalling their impending doom or a fight. Anything.

The door swung open. "Come on, I got the lock, and he's bound to know we're here. Let's get Kat and get out." Belladonna hisses, getting Atlas to set her down within the cell.

(Lol finally I Haven't been breathing XD THE SUSPENSE)
Shadow nodded getting her out of the cage. As soon as he landed on solid ground he decided not to look for fear he would do something stupid. Again. "Crush the pearl it'll take you to Kazia's tent. Get out." He hissed crushing his own beneath his feet. Shadow landed in front of Kazia's tent with the troupe all about. He ran in and set her down on a cot cradling her in his arms. "Kat? Katia are you okay?" He asked gently shaking her. He worked to ignore the pain in his side, though several groans passed through his teeth. There they were. Covered in dust and blood. But once again reunited in this helacious turn of events.
(Had to put a cap on that lol sorry for the last few sentences XD)

Kat had been bound tightly in rope, arms together behind her back, wings bound to them, the rope cutting her flesh. Her tail wasbound around her legs, more carefully tied knots keeping her from moving. Large fang marks littered her neck with newly formed scratches and bruises over her tailing scars. She was awake but just barely, the shatteredcolors of her eyes weak and dull, even against her deathly pale skin.

Shadow untied her with his knife growling under his breath as he did he worked feverishly to repair her various wounds with his dust emptying most of his pouches. He fixed her tail and most of her cuts though the fang marks on her neck he left alone. He gently going her neck with cloth and sat back holding her hand. "Til death do us part." He whispered. Shadow lie on the ground next to her holding her hand over his heart as he struggled to breathe.

Katia had long since drifted off, her breath shallow and uneven, and her skin colder than normal.
After a few minutes Bella ducked inside the tent, Kats scarf in one hand, her now shredded shawl in the other.

Shadow was paralyzed in pain only able to watch Bella move with his eye. His mouth was open in a silent scream though he only wanted to care for Kat.

Bella looked at him with concern in her eyes. "Shadow, come on. You need help, dying wont fix anything."
Atlas walked in now, scraped up and bleeding lightly

He finally regained his breath gasping loudly. "Who said anything about dying?" He asked sarcastically. "I'll be fine. I just gotta get home. But not now. I need to be here. Atl are you ok?" Shadow asked sitting up though not releasing Kat's hand.

He took a second to reply. "...Yeah. Just a bit fuzzy at the moment..." He slurs quietly, sitting down.
"Sedatives, the thubg had somethubg on its claws. I think you forgot that someone needed to tell Distortion if we succeeded or not." Bella explains , sitting down near Katia, annoyed with herself and obviously tired. "How's Kat..." She asks, now examining the bites on the half demons neck.

Shadow slapped his forehead. "I was gonna go tell him as soon a I could move again, I'm so sorry you went through that. Any injuries?" He asked quietly. "And I think she'll be okay. She was pretty banged up but I have her stitched up as best I could. I didn't have anything for the bites on her neck but I cleaned em out and wrapped them up. God willing she'll be okay." He explained feeling guilty.

"He only got my shawl. But Atlas got a few scrapes and a bit drugged because of them...He'll be fine, but I wouldn't count on him being very alert for a while." Bella explains further, gently wrapping Kat's scarf around the half demon's neck and going to find a blanket for her.
Atlas was pulling bits of webbing from his mouth for use on his wounds, though he seemed as if he was having trouble staying awake.

"Hey Atl. I'll bet Canus has those souls for you by now." Shadow said trying to keep him awake and alert. "Why don't you call him?" He asked tossing him the metal band that he kept round his wrist.

"Don't know how." he slurred simply after a moment, not even noticing the band thrown.at him and now wrapping a cut on his arm with aomw of the webbing sloppily.

Shadow smiled amused at Atlas' condition. "Canus." He called his voice louder than normal. A few moments later there he sad naked and dirty as usual and he seemed to be covered in blood that hadn't been washed off very well. He pulled a bag off from over his shoulder and tossed it to Shadow. "42 boss man." He said with a smile. Shadow returned the look and saluted Canus before the boy dove back through the band. Shadow threw the bag at Atlas feet. "42 souls for your help." He said with a wink.

Atlas was about to say something before loosing to his comdition, going limp and falling to the floor.

Shadow crawled over and dragged him onto a cot making sure he was ok as well as setting his bag of souls on his chest before returning to check on Kat, kissing her knuckles lightly. He desperately needed to get home and stitch up his side before his adrenaline wore of and he would be rendered completely incapacitated.

Bella finally found a thick blanket and threw it over Kat, sitting down next to her as she made sure it covered the girls wings and tail. " I hope she's really alright... At least she'll get some rest for a while, she looked so tired..." She cpmments quietly.

"She looked dead." Shadow said his voice angry at the Changeling. He paced for a moment as if thinking about things. "Will you watch over her? Just for a moment?" He asked his voice hesitant and shaky.

"Yes, of course. I wont leave her side." Bella answers.
