Ram was hit hard by it and simply flopped down onto the ground below him once Shadow was gone, curling up in the pain he had been hiding for so long now.
There was the quiet and slow noise of crunching snow as a small, familiar, pink form made its way through the snow nearby.

Shadow strained his nose not able to see the figure well enough. "Alyssium???" Shadow asked, his struggling ceasing though his wing began to throb. The snow around him was now decorated in black feathers, their sharp outline piercing to all who saw.

Alyssium looked up blankly and shifted forms. He quietly climbed up the tree and worked on freeing Shadow weakly, now an unkempt, brused and scratched up from both new and old occurences, blank eyed boy.

Shadow fell to the ground with a thud, working his shoulder around a few times. "Thanks...Man what's wrong with you what happened?" He asked quietly. Shadow tucked in his wing gently and pulled his thin hoodie around it, staring in Alyssium's general direction.

Alyssium had already begun walking off, the chain on his leg rattling a bit with every step he took.

Shadow jogged after his footsteps, taking his arm gently. "Be careful. If you walk this way you could be set on fire. There are some glitchy seeds all over the place. They were supposed to help. But they can hurt you, how'd you get out here?" He asked his voice concerned.

"I walked out the door, and I'll be fine." He finally speaks, but very quietly,

Shadow was glad to hear Alyssium's voice though he still seemed concerned. "Alright I guess. Let me know if you need anything okay?" He said softly before jogging ahead and taking as wide a stride as he could handle over the scattered seeds over the snow to return to his home. He looked to Ram tiredly. "Are you ok now?" Shadow asked rubbing his neck awkwardly.

Ram was still on the ground, curled up. He was coughing badly, dark blood coming up andshowing against the ground. His mask was askew, an and wha could be seen of his face seemed oddly marked and bloodied.

Shadow kneeled and retrieved the bottle from the ground seeming unfazed. He gently removed Ram's mask completely, lifting the bottle to his lips. "Drink." He said quietly as if speaking to a boy much younger than him.

Ram seemed weak, pale, and tired. His coughing slowed as he weakly refused the water again. "Give it back...." he croaks, reaching for his mask.

Shadow tossed the mask on the roof effortlessly. "Drink." He insisted again. "I'll get your mask when you finish this bottle." He said his voice still calm and persistent.

The boy sighed, frustrated and beginning to get angry. "Fine." He replies simply

Shadow didn't let up until the bottle was mostly gone. "I'm sorry for the injuries I've caused and for being so rude in this." He murmured jumping up on the roof. He groped around for the Mask, gripping it tightly before he unceremoniously slipped and fell onto the porch. He lay on his back facepalming and cursing his clumsiness. He sat up ruffling his feathers gently before wrapping them up once more. Shadow gave Ram his mask and went back inside, crashing on teh couch tiredly.

Distortion was sitting next to the couch quietly, pruning what feathers he had left. Kazia was still asleep by the fire, mumbling softly.
Outside, Ram replaced his mask weakly before seeming as if he was back to his normal self, standing just tiredly and leaning against the house.

Shadow rested his hands on his hips. "Well. This couldn't possibly be any more depressing." Shadow said a light sarcastic smile playing on his lips.

Distortion sighed., looking up from his feathers. "Agreed..." he replies quietly, shifting a bit.

Shadow moved over to the corner of the room fumbling with a large wooden box. Within a minute Shadow moved back to sit against the wall revealing a record player. The old sickly voice of Frank Sinatra twirled around the room like a ribbon that fit perfectly around a young girls hair. Shadow hummed along softly allowing himself to become completely saturated in sound, forcefully forgetting the days events.

Distortion stood and left quietly, not caring for the noise and soon fell asleep outside next to Ram.
Inside, a notebook and pencil fell from nowhere to the couch. Written upon it was one word.
"Quiet"

Shadow jumped seeing the word. He cut off the music and bolted upstairs perching himself over Kat's corpse protectively. A low growl emanated out of his throat and his fangs were bare in firey anger. Shadow puffed out his chest as well as stretched every muscle in his wings to make himself seem larger.

The notebook and pencil appeared again, this time on the floor near the bed.
"All I asked was for quiet." The words written on it said. The pencil seemed to lift by itself as an invisible hand wrote with it. "I just stopped by for a check-up, nothing more. It's not time yet."

"THEN LEAVE" Shadow roared hoping the noise would fend the thing off. He strained to open his eyes wider, hoping if he could somehow open them wide enough his vision would return to normal. He could only make out the words in white in a black fuzzy backround and it infuriated him to no end.

the pencil snapped in half instantly and a brief flash of something huge filled the room. oddly familiar and massive claws were briefly seen attached to a body too tall to stand correctly in the room.

Shadow saw only the claws and wasn't the least bit fearful. "Leave." He demanded again, his voice lower now hoping the damned thing would vanish again. He maintained his low growl, piercing in the silence though still quiet in the room.

"I'll be back when it's time. But she won't wake if you don't let me work." It writes before appearing again briefly and instantly disappearing in a burst of flame.
