"...Not very well to be honest..." the large demon speaks quietly, a few more feathers drifting from him as he flicks one of his ears.

(Srry late reply, my phone refused to work half of yesterday)

"Hey well you know all Kat ever wanted was for us to be happy. So maybe you should come inside for a while? Eat something?" Shadow asked kindly. "Or if you want you can help me get Kat's sister....I think she should know her sister isn't breathing at the moment..."

"Yeah... I'll help you with her sister in a bit..." he replies quietly, standing and shaking out his feathers, many flying off and making his bare patches a bit bigger, only revealing more of the marks across his skin. "How's Kaz and Ram?" He continues idly.

"Kaz is hungry. I was going to fix her something to eat. Ram went back to the demonsplace to see if it's safe for us to go back. I was afraid of missing the Changelings." Shadow explained opening the door back into the house. "Why don't you come in and warm up. You'll get sick if you're out here too long." He said with a gentle urgence.

He nods quietly. " Alright... it is cold out here.... and did they say this meeting was going to be anywhere specific?." He asks, following slowly.

"No. They just said they were coming to the meeting. I don't know anything about any of this." Shadow said going in behind Distortion. He went into the kitchen fixing sandwiches for the three of them not really sure what else to feed them.

Distortion simply shrugged, sitting down and messing with his talons quietly.

Shadow offered both of them a plate as well as some water sitting near the fire himself. "Kaz do you think we should get Kat's sister? ...I think she should know whats goin on...." He said quietly taking a bite from his sandwich awkwardly.

Distortion sniffed at his sandwich before licking it up and swallowing it whole.
"Yes, definetly. She needs to know..... and Nor and Mark.... bella........morpheus...." kazia says quietly, voice fading near the end. She breaks off a piece of the sandwich given to her and nibbles on it sadly.
"So many still don't have a clue...." distortion adds quietly before sipping at his water, feathers slightly ruffled.

"I have no way of knowing how to reach anyone but Katia. And there's no way in hell I'm telling her dad she gave up her life for me. I'd be a skinbag in seconds. If you know how to reach any of the others please let me know. Her family and friends deserve to know." Shadow agreed giggling lightly at Distortion. "Another?"

"Er, no, I'm fine.... it'd take like twenty of those to just be a snack...." distortion replies quietly. "And I know how to get to Bella and where Morpheus lives. But I'm not sure about Mark.... and I'm afraid of what Nor's reaction might be....."

I know where Morpheus lives...ish...maybe i dunno it was in a ruin of some building and he was sitting by himself though that may just be him waiting for dinner to calm down a bit." SHadow joked quietly. "I don't really remember Bella's house or much more about mark than the fact he could kill me quite easily...then again greed was...and all the group and yeah. You know what I'm talking about." He finished thinking about flying to Morpheus though he didn't fancy leaving Kat here alone. Even with Distortion or Kaz watching her.

"We'll track them down eventually...." distortion speaks quietly. "We can start with Katia, then make our way to Bella and then morpheus. then maybe we'll run into Mark or whoever on our way.... oh... and she had that one friend that lived up here.... I forgot his name.... never met him....." he continues more to himself, thinking.

Shadow nodded in agreement. "Yeah." He said quietly popping his neck as he finished his sandwich. "You guys need anything else?" Shadow asked not really sure what else to do with himself.

"No we're fine dear." Kazia speaks, halfway through with her food

Shadow nodded and stood quietly. He padded up the stairs and into his room, watching Kat for a moment before returning to his perch on the roof gazing out at the snow blankly. Shadow eventually fell asleep again, the cold making him quite drowsy.

Katia's corpse remained as it had been left, still devoid of life but staying as it had been moments after death.
Distortion entered after a little while and threw a blanket over Shadow, wanting him to get at least a little rest for now. Then he went back to pacing outside, though slower, and he would sit and rest regularly, not wanting to tire himself out as he began to feel rather drowsy.

Shadow woke after a few minutes, a small bird having landing in front of him. He watched the thing and climbed back inside awing at it's delicacy. He moved over to sit on he edge of Kat's bed. Shadow gently brushed his fingers over her cheek, humming softly. He sat there for what felt like hours talking to the corpse, his completely black eye now adopting small specks of red as he spoke about the same thing three and four times over. He held her hand and sang softly. He kissed her forehead and even recited Shakespeare laughing quietly at his foolishness.

Eventually Kaziafound her way upstairs. She nudged the door open quietly. "Talking to her dear? I've always felt it calms them." She speaks quietly.

Shadow stood awkwardly, not expecting anything. "Uh...er..yeah okay...." He stuttered blushing madly. He felt as if he had been caught talking to an imaginary friend though her words were kind and open.

"Ram's back if you want to talk to him, and he said Joker would be appearing shortly but that's all I've made out so far...." she continues.

Shadow scratched his neck quietly. "Yes, thank you Kaz." Shadow said glancing back to Kat's corpse one more time before exiting the room. He trotted downstairs and walked up to Ram, an anxious look on his face. "What's up man?" Shadow asked his voice still a little odd from the past few hours.

Ram was back hunched up against one of the walls, coughing lightly. It was plain that he had been running and he appeared tired. After a moment he finally spoke. "Jokers, alright.... but the troupe.... a lot of us were attacked by the patchies when tthey couldn't find Katia.... joker couldn't keep them all away..... he's pretty upset about it... I grabbed your friend before I left again.... he's not doing too well...." he speaks tiredly, gesturing to a satchel that smelled faintly of blood.

Shadow ran a hand through his hair, a strained expression on his face. "I'm so sorry about that...I never intended any harm...I just.....Thank you Ram. Let me know if you need anything. You can have whatever you want, my house is yours." He said tiredly. Shadow unintentionally licked his lips, following his nose to the source of the blood. He picked up his satchel and retrieved the cat a smile on his face. "You know you really should say something to someone if you notice I've disappeared." Shadow said gently prodding at the cat to see injuries.

Alyssium's fur was matted and messy, and several cuts ran along his body. He was lighter than before and getting bony, and his eyes were tired and sad. The little cat didn't reply.
