"Er- I don't know... Purra's my cat... She doesn't leave my house much...." He replies softly. "She's way bigger than a normal cat though... Last time I checked she was four feet tall standing... and I haven't weighed her yet..." He continues, the memories of his cat seeming to calm him a bit.

"Oh, no then I wouldn't know her. Sorry. Heh heh." Shadow said finishing off his drink. He threw the bottle into the trash from where he sat and wiped a stray stream of the brownish red liquid from his chin absentmindedly.

Cinder just nods.
"How's Lea and Terra?" Katia questions further. He thinks for a moment before answering.
"They're doing alright. Terra's garden is only growing, and Lea's been successful in his hunts." He answers, seeming a bit more comfortable without the silence. Kat's slightly upset by the last bit of news, but keeps it hidden.

Shadow read them both intently deciphering wave patters of emotions, instantly becoming jealous of Lea. He kept quiet though and had to distract himself for a moment to keep his though warm and welcoming as Kat had previously instructed. Deciphering Kat's emotions waves was like breathing to him now though Cinder's Code was a little harder to Crack. He went into his mind spacing out and went to work defining complex algorithms for Cinder's emotions.

Cinder's emotions were a jumble. An unreadable tangle of nervousness and fear chopped up and mixed in with measureless rage and wickedness. The emotions seemed unnatural, and clashed as if from two separate minds. As he talked with Kat, while he was near her, the anger wickedness slowly began to push away everything else, though it did not show on the outside.
"So, yeah... Ivy's... She's doing better... But She's still so afraid of me... I kinda avoid her a bit so she doesn't get scared... I really hate that she's so afraid of me though... Doesn't help that I don't remember what I did..." He can be heard telling Kat quietly while she listened, getting up to date on what was going on with this group of her friends.

Shadow felt awfully uncomfortable, not feeling safe around cinder any further. He sat squirming in his chair desperately wanting to get him and Kat out of there.

Kat and Cinder's conversation pauses and she gets up.
"I'm going to go use the restroom real quick. I'll be right back." Kat says before leaving Shadow and Cinder alone at the table. Cinders emotions slowly begin to even out again once Kat leaves the room, but at a snails pace.

Shadow suppresses a hard glare at him unsure of his capabilities. He had ling since learned looks were dreadfully deceitful. "So what are you usually doing, other than getting lost." Shadow said a fake laugh echoing through the room

"er- I've been researching a few things... It all sounds stupid so...." He replies nervously, rubbing at his eye. "A-and i've been doing some research on curses... I need to break one you see... And if I could find a way, I might be able to break at least one of Kat's too I think... uh! er- i-if you knew about those- crap, don't just give out information cinder." He says, scolding himself at the end and giving his forehead a whack.

"Hey man don't beat yourself up. We all make mistakes." Shadow said absolutely positive Kat had a psychotic friend and he was sitting across the table from him.

"Yeah, s-sorry." He apologizes as Kat comes back and takes her place in between the two once more.

Shadow relaxes a bit when she comes in though when Cinders emotion waves begin to project he becomes nervous again. Shadow wanted him out.

Kat and Cinder talk for a little longer before Cinder mentions something about needing to get home.
"Sounds stupid, but I'm worried about Purra. She doesn't like being alone at the house." He says quietly. "A-and I know you and Lea don't get along and... He was trying to keep track of me... I guess I better get going... I've been left around here before, I can get back home." He continues nervously now to Kat before standing quietly.
"Okay, it was nice to see you again." Kat begins, standing as well to walk him to the door.

Shadow nods a smile , of the genuine kind, on his face following Kat. "Safe travels Cineder." He said kindly.

He nods and pauses at the door, moving to give Kat a quick hug before leaving. He wraps his arms around her before losing control.
"I'm not sorry. I need your blood, and you're not going to stop this." He hisses quietly in her ear, simultaneously pulling her closer and grabbing the pocket knife in his back pocket, swiftly flipping it open and pressing the blade against her neck with a smile. with the one eye he had open he watches Shadow, a look as if daring him to try something in his his icy blue eye. A few beads of blood gleamed from where his blade pressed against Kat's neck, the black ribbon she was wearing being cut into along with her skin.

Shadow roared as he tackled Cinder to the ground. "Never touch her again." He growled brutally beating his face paying no mind to anything else. He wanted Cinder dead and few things in this world would be capable of stopping him thus far.

"Shadow! get off of him!!" Kat yells, scared, but knowing that what happened wasn't Cinder's fault. She attempts to pull him away.
(bleh rushed reply is rushed)

Shadow stands immediately, when he heard her voice. "Why, should I." Shadow growled, a feral rage still boiling beneath his skin as he glared at Cinder.

Cinder was curled up on the ground, confused and scared, not sure what was going on, just hiding behind his arms. He seemed to be crying.
"That wasn't him, he couldn't control what happened!" She explains, fear and worry causing her to raise her voice. "Let it go, there wasn't anything he could do." She finishes, calming a bit, only now raising a hand to wipe away some of the blood on her neck.

Shadow closed his eyes and took a breath, slowly letting it out. He opened his eyes, seeming much more relaxed. He turned back to Cinder slowly. "My utmost apologies. Safe travels." He said his voice calm, slow and clear. Shadow turned on his heel and walked out into the snow feeling rather ashamed of himself. He had allowed his rage to boil over. But he had a knife at her neck. And said he needed her blood. Though, she didn't seem to be fighting him. This whole situation confused Shadow and he ended up on his back watching the white flakes drift down onto him and the snow around him.

After a little while Kat follows the trail he had made in the snow, walking up quietly and sitting down next to him. She now had bandages circling her neck in place of the black ribbon she had been wearing before. She waits a moment before speaking quietly.
"...Thanks for before... Honestly I didn't know what he was going to do... Though I could have guessed..." she says quietly.

"Forgiven. Though I wasn't mad. At least not at you." Shadow said with a sigh. "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have gone all...psychotic bear on him." He said quietly. He stared up into the sky watching the moon through the thin clouds.

"It's alright... It's sad to say, but this happens to him a lot..." She replies, watching him. "He left, went to find his brother... Who I'm kinda glad didn't show up..."

"I'm going to be bitterly honest here when I say, I don't like any of them. I sympathize his mental state but...Me no like the guys that hold knives to peoples throats. Especially special throats. Like yours." Sgadow said with a smirk.

Kat's quiet, now shifting her gaze to the sky. "I can see how you feel that way." She comments simply, mind slowly starting to wander elsewhere. She curls up soon however, now looking at the trees and snow around them.
