Shadow patted her back a few times. "You okay?" He asked standing up and stretching. He reached for the ceiling, his shirt sliding up exposing an odd blue light.

She nods, coughing a few more times before stopping. "Y-yeah, I'm fine... And you realize that you;re glowing right?" She says quietly, tough she was a bit distracted, trying to push her nightmare from her mind.

"Well...I have been...using some proactiv but...I wouldn't say I'm glowing..." Shadow said awkwardly. He grabbed a drink from the refrigerator, chucking a bottle of apple juice at Kat, sipping his own.

"No, like, unnatural blue." She adds, catching the juice and sitting with it in her lap.

"Oh well that makes more sense...oh wait no it doesn't.." Shadow said lifting up his shirt a bit. He watched the pulsating blue light that seemed to be in sync with his heart. "Well...this....is...new..." Shadow said unsure of what to say about it.

Kat stands, thinking. "Yeah... I don't know... Exactly why..." She says, trying to come up with answers but not knowing anything.

"Dude....my heart sounds like dubstep...." Shadow said becoming slightly concerned. "I'll have to ask my uncle if its a thing, I'll just call him real fast..." Shadow said sliding across the kitchen to grab his phone. He dialed his uncle and mumbled at the phone for a while. He eventually hung up. "Uncle says it's normal for like growth in wings and like he said he was a little eccentiric when he got his crest so I think it's normal but I dunno." Shadow said calmly.

Kat shrugs. "Makes me think of the demon kids when they ate their first soul." She comments. "And first arena fight, those were hand in hand." She adds, comparing it to what she knew.

"Huh. I bet that looks kinda funny. Seeing a bunch a little demons running around giggleing. It'd be so anticliche." Shadow joked. He pulled his jacket tighter around him and sat next to her by the fire sipping his juice. "Juuuuuuuuuuiiccceeeee."

"It'd actually be more of a whole bunch of little demons running around challenging each other and fighting... The running around giggling once they got a soul." Kat comments, sitting back down as well and taking a sip of her juice.

Shadow laughed lightly imagining it. He finished the juice and chucked the bottle at the wall flopping over on the floor. "muuuuuuuuuuuuhuhuuuuhuhuuh"
(*rolls into mountain*)

"you okay?" Kat asks, noting his behavior.

"Shadow is bored." He moaned incredulously. "Shadow is bored and sounds like a little girl when he complains." He added with a laugh.
(Better. THey didn't actually get into it last night which surprises me but I fell asleep in my closet sol...)

"Ghaaah, well what does shadow want to do???" Kat mocks playfully, finishing her juice.

"Nuuuuthinnnn" Shadow moaned. He flailed about on the gorund rolling into things with out a care.

Kat sets aside the empty bottle of juice that she was holding, in thought. "hmmm... Honestly, I've been putting this off but... I think it's about time to check out what's going on in the demonsplace..." She says quietly, thinking.

"I'm game for anything love." Shadow said still rolling around into things like an idiot.

"A quick walk around the main street should do, and maybe a visit with joker or maybe Bella." Kat says, forming a plan in her mind.

"Sure man I drag you around everywhere. I'm game. Just lemme go make myself not look like this but so..yeah" Shadow said stopping on his back. He stood stumbling into the wall. "And maybe I shouldn't be rolling around everywhere..."

"Can you grab my jacket for me? The weird one that's purple." Kat asks before he goes.

"Yeah, Here," Shadow said retrieving it for her. He jogged back upstairs and showered shaving with his cutthroat razor. He spiked up his hair and slipped on a purple and black flannel shirt and some white jeans along with his white leather jacket.

Kat takes the knife she had used before and modifies the back of her jacket real quick to fit her new wings. Then she slips it on and messes with the buckles on the front of it and keeping her hair from being caught in her horns.

Shadow came back down stairs, put on a dark purple beanie and his black converse. "Ready when you are Kat." He said sliding a small leather bag onto his black and white checkered belt. Shadow hooked his glasses around his neck and looked to Kat waiting.

Kat nods, taking her scythe out of her pocket just in case, keeping it in it's dormant form for now. Then she takes Shadows hand gently. "Alright then, let's go." She says as dark fire hungrily springs from the ground, and the next moment they stood in some of the flatlands, near the city.
"You know the drill~ stay close and try not to attract attention. If you do however make sure they see the mark on your eye and let me know." Kat says, repeating just in case. Then she begins to lead them towards the city. he combination of the dim light and red backdrop along with her jacket made her form seem more menacing, flaunting a power she did not believe she had.

Shadow admired the power that Kat's appearance radiated. She never came off as weak to him though seeing her this way made him smile. Like she had it all under control. He followed her, his wings spread out wide, one of them slightly angled towards Kat though He didn't think now was the time nor place to be making these sorts of gestures. He took not of the city and watched everything with an acute awareness.
