Canus nodded at the notebook not in the least bit surprised at the unseen hand. He gently pawed at teh air above the note book a look of fascination on his kiddish face.
(canus is so cute hes just like imma paw at eveyrthing and thn imma eat their souls :D)

Distortion walks over, looking at the paper with a look of confusion on his face. "Er- can... anyone awake who can read?" He says in his usual quiet tone. The paper moves a bit and more words are written.
"Please tell him to be quieter"

"I can read dude. It said that's it's quiet here. And it wants you to be quieter." Canus said his raspy voice just over a whisper.

Distortion lowers his voice. "Er- okay?" he says.
there was scratching on the paper as more words formed.
"Good." it wrote before writing on another space.
"What are you called?" It writes slowly.

Canus perked up. "Canus." The boy said happily. His ears twitching excitedly. He continued to paw at the air to see if he could feel anything. His right foot twitched excitedly and he was near to jump off teh couch and play with the invisible thing.

it wrote again. "Hello Canus." then it scribbled a smiley face with three eyes.

Canus barked happily though it was odd coming from his more human anatomy sound more like a deafening growl. Canus bowed his head afterwards. "Sorry...." He whispered his ears twitching again the slightly pointed tips drooping just barely.

The paper is knocked onto the floor, but soon retrieved after canus apologizes. "Please don't do that again." the thing writes.
(idk, :3 what makes u think so???"

Canus nodded keeping his eyes down. "Who are you?" Canus asked softly pulling his knees up nearer to his chest.

there was a pause before an answer was written on thre paper a bit messier than before. "I don't know." it wrote shakily.
(i remember that! lol)

Canus became bored with the invisible being and decided to go to sleep at Kat's feet.
(canus gets bored easy....)

Distortion was still watching the paper cautiously, confused overall. He whispers something. "Can you show yourself?" He asks and there was a shuffling.
(i love how Kat just has all of these guys curled up next to her as she's passed out. like seriously XD)

Shadow appeared watching from over the banister "Remember me?" Shadow asked the being uneasily. He shakily began walking downstairs and sat on the other couch adjacent to Kat, watching the odd display.

It writes on the paper again.
"Hello. I spoke with you before."
Distortion just watches curiously.

Shadow nods. "I spoke to you at my nieces dwelling. What are you called?" He asked rushing a hand through his hair, still slightly wet and not willing to stick up the right way.

It circles it's earlier statement when asked about his name. It's movements seemed a tad annoyed.

"Why are you here?" Shadow asked tiredly, still feeling rather weak from the day's events. Canus shifted forms and rested his head in Shadow's lap. Shadow rested a hand on teh thick bodied dog stroking him gently.

"Another check up." it writes. "Nothing big... Just wanted to say hi... It's nice to speak to people quietly."

"Did you put a nail in her back?" Shadow said seeming confused as to why the creature came back. He'd thought it had left and the bind had broken as it had said it was moving on. He became fuzzy though he felt sort of angry though more than that he felt tired.

"Not today." It writes. "Looks like patient will be at the turning point soon though. Either death or change." It writes on the paper. "I have to leave soon." It scribbles afterwords.

"Wait, for who?" Shadow said not understanding the response at all. He still didn't like riddles or whatever it was that this thing was trying to convey. He hugged his free arm to his chest. Yawning again.
(BLEHBLEHBLEH)

"Patient" It wrote, drawing an arrow that pointed towards Katia.

"Well can you not use her? Can you find someone else? She really needs to be left alone by this kind of thing right now." Shadow said not at all happy with the seeming admittance of this whole thing. He didn't what whatever this thing was to be anywhere near Kat much less using her as a patient.
