It doesn't take long for Ram to unskillfully clean and bandage the wound, while Alyss worked to calm Kat and get her coughing to stop. Outside, Distortion returns to the roof with Joker, wanting to keep him calm.

Shadow got up as soon as he could not seeming to care about his movements and how the stretched the already torn skin on his back. His wings were partially extended making them rather awkward and he made his way to Kat across the room. "Hey are you alright?" He asked looking between her and Alyss.

"...She started to choke, but I think she's okay for now..." Alyss answers nervously, helping hold the rag that Kat was currently coughing into up to her mouth. "She doesn't need more scares though... It's like she opened something." He continues as Kat coughs up more blood, trying to clear her lungs.

"Opened something? Like she ripped her lung of something?" Shadow asked looking concerned. His back slowly began to throb, the pain finally reaching his head. He began to twitch slightly. "Hello son. Dealing with loops? I remember those. I don't have them anymore. You incredulous freak." A deep silky voice sang from the door way. A loud slam on the roof signified at least ten pairs of feet landing heavily on the roof. The slams continued for a few minutes before it ended and Silas strolled into the heart of the room, slapping shadow on the back in a fatherly but sinister gesture earning an exsentuated grunt from his son. "Evening gents."

Ram edged towards the door, his only thought that He had left his staff downstairs. While Alyss almost reverted to his cat form, staying how he was for the sole purpose of helping Kat. She was still coughing up blood weakly, and it dripped from her mouth, bright against her skin.

Distortions feathers spike up, doubling his size as he growls at the crowd on the roof, a warning given while he went through which ways he should distort his figure. Joker just stands with a grin, looking over the group, a small spark of fire mostly concealed in a claw.

The group on the roof were mainly triples, bygons not diluted though tested and deformed and someway or another from failed procedures. Even Silas held a thin whitish line up the side of his neck ending at the wicked curve of his mouth. The men on the rood Advanced at Distortion many pulling out lighters and holding them to their hands for a moment or even tazers in a few cases. The assailants kept a small distance shooting thick strands of electricity or scorching flames form their fingertips. Shadow stood stone still as his father looked down on him, love in his bright blue eyes. "I have a proposition for you all my dears," Silas said strolling about the room. He held a similar demeanor to Thomas, a waist coat and bow tie along with dark jeans and black dress shoes, his white blond hair combed to the side in a perfect curve along his forehead. Silas grabbed Kat by the throat and hovered above the floor just out of reach, forcing his hand down her throat and into her lungs as if it were the most normal thing he had done all day. He removed his hand having healed the seal of her lungs along with repairing the damage he had done stretching out her throat. He dropped her wiping his arm off on a silk hanker chief before replacing it in his pocket. He popped the rag on his mouth, devouring it with a smile. "Sorry I can't stand standing blood. Such a waste." He sang returning to the floor and into the arms of Shadow who began clawing at the mans' face.

Katia lied where she was dropped, coughing a few times more, her vision dark, and her heart racing. She shook slightly, shaken and feeling sick, one wing over her, and her tail curled around her. The nails in her lower back lie exposed as she shivered on the floor.
Alyss transformed into a cat, hissing at Silas from the floor in fear, while Ram now paused by the door, questioning how quickly he could retrieve his staff.
Joker quickly bent their fire and curled it around him and Distortion in a massive ring that quickly expanded outwards, hitting anything in the way like a wall, engulfing them.

All but four fighters remained on the roof, their looks of surity and sinisism gone, replaced with fear and hesitancy. They all looked at each other launching into the air and pulling weapons from their belts or jackets, firing at Joker as he seemed more of a threat, or diving at DIstortion with heavy metal, retractable spears shouting loudly.
Silas now smiled down at Shadow who had fallen to the floor with one pop to the chest, after trying to claw at Silas hopelessly. "COme now boy, I can make you free. I can give you the original three all for free. I've perfected the experiment and I can give them all to you, and your friends. I want to make amends son. I want my boy back in my life." Silas said an earnest smile on his face.

Distortion takes on the form of a massive bird, swiftly snapping at those who remained as he took flight, while Joker seemed unfazed by anything that seemed to cause him harm. The patchie simply directs great dragons of flame at his attackers.
Ram figured if he was to get his staff, there really wasn't a better time. He bolts downstairs, retrieving it from the stairs with a quick flick of the puppet wire kept with him, then rushes to return to the room, wrapping a complex knot of the wire around part of it as he bolted up the stairs. Alyss hisses at Silas again, his pink fur spiked up as he gathers enough courage to come forward a bit in defense of Shadow.

Silas kneels down stroking Alyss fondly. "Obviously now is a bad time. Maybe later my boy. I'll be back." Silas said, disappearing with a puff of blew smoke. Shadow fell next to Kat looking over her frantically. "Are you ok?!" Shadow nearly screamed his mind in overdrive.

Alyss went limp once he was stroked, unable to keep himself from it.
Katia had blacked out, now lying on the floor, the streak in her hair yellow and white.

Shadow took Kat in his arms running downstairs yelling for help. He shoved two of the vials into her blood with a thin needle and held it there for a moment calling for distortion and Joker again.

Distortion was in the middle of swallowing one of the guys whole, still in his more bird-like form, when he heard Shadows calls for help. He quickly moves to the edge of the roof, his massive head peering inside the door as he finished swallowing his snack. Joker finished collecting the souls of those now dead, holding them in his arms as he came back to the house to see what was happening.

Shadow flailed about next to Kat looking back from Kat to them frantically, tears welling up in his eyes. He didn't mind the tearing of his bandages and the strain he put on the stiches in his eye as he sat next to Kat. "Whado I do???" He slurred feeling a little weak.

Distortion quickly changes back into a smaller form, jumping off the roof and hitting the ground with a heavy thud before quickly coming inside, Joker close behind.
"I-I don't know, is she breathing!?" Distortion asks, coming up next to them, looking over Kat worriedly.
"All we can really do is wait. We know nothing of healing, boy." Joker speaks, thrown into a bad mood from what had happened, that he couldn't keep his word.

Shadow slumped over next to her on the floor. "She's breathing." He whispered quietly.

"Then I guess all we can do is wait and watch to see what happens..." Distortion says quietly, ears drooping with sadness and worry. A few of his feathers fell to the floor.
meanwhile, ALyssium was still lying limp upstairs.

Shadow nodded getting up and grabbing a blanket. He drapped it over her and went upstairs to better bandage his back. He slipped on a clean shirt and combed his hair before grabbing Alyss and going back downstairs. He set Alyss at Kats feet laughing comically. "Just taking a nap." He whispered, taking his place next to her on the floor once more.

Alyss's tail twitched slightly. "I'm not taking a nap this time..." He groans quietly, still trying unsuccessfully to move his limbs.
Joker was splitting the souls he had collected with Distortion. After a minute each held half of those collected. and Distortion popped one in his mouth, swallowing it.

"Not you dummy." Shadow said laughing lightly. He leaned back carefully, the numbing medicine he had taken making it's way to his back so he could rest on it. He eventually drifted off to sleep listening to Joker and Distortion and imagining the total destruction that had occurred on the roof, a vengeful smile playing on his lips.

Shadow woke several hours later. He looked hopefully to Kat though slumped back down when he saw he still unconscious. He got up and downed two bottles idly. Shadow took his guitar and flew up to the roof leaning up against one of the three chimneys on the house and began to play softly humming along as his fingers plucked away at the brass strings.

Ram was sitting on the brick of one of the chimneys, his mask covering his face once more. He notes that Shadow was there, but doesn't say anything, figuring he might not have noticed him or probably didn't want to speak to him.

Shadow began strumming deeper lower notes, his expression darkening. He hummed along with this his throat becoming raw as he hummed louder. He eventually just threw the guitar off the roof following it, falling to the snow on the ground, not caring at all about messing up his back of anything.

Ram just watched curiously, not sure what was going on, but feeling tired and unwilling to jump off where he was sitting for any little thing.

Shadow lied there in the snow for a while before going back inside his anger having been drained out of him. He sat next to Kat again studying her face, psychoanalyzing it for any sign of movement. Any sign that she was ok.
