~~~Dragon-y au RP~~~

Among the smaller mountains the sun begins to slowly set, sending soft light through bright, translucent, four fingered wings, and casting stained-glass shadows across the cool rock, and snow nearby. Another set of wings reflected the light, resembling a birds wings, but having a myriad of bright pieces resembling a dragonflies wings instead of feathers. The owner of the wings lay on the dark rock below, half within the entrance of a dark cave. The dragoness Had a crown of large horns upon her head and eyes as bright and colorful as her wings. Her neck was long and slim like her tail, but she appeared a bit too skinny overall, as if she had lacked food. She flicks her tail, the feathered end of it brushing aside a few small rocks near it as it's colors shifted towards blue from the darker purple it had been along with the few feathers on her head and body. One of the many wounds on her forearms, neck, legs, and tail had begun to hurt again, sending small waves of pain into her right arm. Her large claws dug into the rock underneath her as she fought to ignore it.

Isaac ran, his shined shoes clacking loudly against the stone floor of one of the many caverns that resided deep in the mountain. His almost white blonde hair held in an overly practiced attempt to seem formal, a lock of longer hair curling on the the side of his forehead. The flapping of his finely pressed tailcoat echoed throughout the hall. Isaac strained to breath under his neck tie that was slightly too tight. Feathers fell to the ground by his feet every so often as metal caps, resting perfectly atop his dark purple wings sometimes curving with the contours of his wings, held him balanced as he scrambled up a steeper bit of stone. When finally he emerged from the dark and the sunlight on the snow hit him like a brick wall he stopped. He awed at the Dragon for a moment before adjusting himself. His light purple waistcoat straightened with a tug and his tail coat straightened. Isaac ran a hand through his hair and fixed the cuffs around his wrists. Finally he relaxed his shoulders and slowed his breathing, waiting patiently to be addressed.

The dragon took a moment to notice the boy, waiting for the pain in her arm to cease while soaking up the last rays of the sun. She folded her wings neatly by her sides as the sun began to swiftly disappear. "Hello Isaac. How are you doing today? Well, night I guess." She asks softly, vouce light and pleasant to hear.

Isaac bowed deeply, clicking his heels. "I'm doing fine thank you Miss." He said hos voice just loud enough to hear. "And yourself? Can I assist you in any way?" He said as if he had forgotten. His words were odd on his tongue even after having been rehearsed a thousand times. He gazed at the colors of her wings. "Have you someone light the torches?" He said speaking too quickly. He knew he had asked too much at once and stared ahead blankly unsure of what to do a he cursed himself in his head.

"If you wish, you could light the torches inside, I'm about to head in." She replies. "But You don't have too if you don't want to. You know it would be no problem for me to do myself." She adds, beginning to stand up, her movements slowed a bit by the weather lowering her body temperature.

Isaac nodded slightly. "Anything else miss?" He asked not quite looking at her as he shyly straightened his waist coat once more. He never kept her gaze very long, or anyone for that matter. Isaac never spoke much either unless to a dress someone or it was required to be socially acceptable.

"No, that'll be fine." She replies, giving him a gentle pat on the head with a bird-like wing. "Relax a bit, I'm not going to make you do anything." She continues gently. "Go find something to eat for dinner afterwords maybe?" She finishes as she begins to head inside the dark front chamber of the cave system.

Isaac flinched violently at her touch but straightened up immediately. He nodded before clicking his heels and walking off in front of her lighting torches swiftly. He eventually just took a lit torch lighting the rest with it. After roughly an hour he had lit each one and returned to a main chamber working with a few others to prepare a meal. One of the others was a new friend, Ash. He dressed similarly to Isaac though he had no wings and was much taller, a grey sash tied around his neck. His hair was straight and fluffy, a soft grey atop his head. He was also slightly older than Isaac and tried to act as a brother most of the time.

The dragoness retired to her chamber, where she slept and kept small pieces of her hoard. It was a room of dark stone with walls smoothed out by her then decorated with all sorts of gems and glowing stones arranged in complex patterns. A large portion of the ground was carved out and filled with various cushions, pillows, and stuffed animals for her to sleep within, and a few puffy blankets lay on the ground nearby as well. She shuffled around, taking out a large book and placing it on a desk sitting on the right side of the room next to a large trunk of just a few of her belongings. She opened it and began to read quietly.
Within the chamber reserved for cooking and storing food a younger child with pitch black hair and cat ears clumsily tried to help. He was wearing a loose dark shirt with a dully colored shawl over it and a baggy pair of grey pants. His black tail was puffed up with frustration as he accidentally dropped a large plate, causing a loud crashing sound. He fidgeted in place, angry at himself. "Ghah, black cats are bad luck!" He angrily says to himself.

Isaac didn't eat though he stuck near Ash until he had finished. Ash frowned at him as he stood and cleared his things. "If you're not going to eat then go back to the room." Ash said tiredly. Isaac said nothing and turned away, heading towards the Dragoness' chamber. He reached her chamber and cleared his throat at the entrance. This time he did not wait to be noticed. "I am going to my chambers unless you have anything needing to be done." He spoke his voice timid and hardly audible by her.

She looked up from the book and answered him with a nod. "Alright, sleep well." She says with a small smile. "And tell me if you need me to get you or the others anything." She speaks.

"Yes Miss." Isaac said before turning sharply and navigating down to his and Ash's chamber. When he crossed the threshold of his room he finally relaxed, his shoulders falling in relief. He loosened his tie and undressed hanging everything neatly in a closet carved out of the sleek grey stone that made up their room. There were two small beds and a couch as well as a bookshelf and two dressers. Isaac unlocked the chest by his bed and removed a small silver heart shaped locket and draped it around his neck. Next came his sketchbook and his little case of pencils which he set on his bed. Isaac pulled on a pair of jeans and a ratty t-shirt, the only other clothing he possessed aside from a few sets of underclothes and his jacket. He stood looking in the mirror for a moment. His shirt was slightly too small and the ridges of his poorly emaciated ribs were easy to see as well as his hip and collar bones. He frowned scolding himself before lying back on his bed and opening the small case of pencils. In the bottom was a small blade that he used quite often, as a way of training himself. He marked his ribs a few times before beginning to sketch boredly, falling asleep just as Ash appeared in the doorway.

Katia began to roam the caverns soon after he had left. She passed by the main baths and bathroom of a handful rooms where a spring had been found or the water from another cavern flowed through to the outside. Then past a large all-purpose room and a dining hall before passing the main kitchen. She turned down a tunnel towards the large entrance chamber, pausing to look outside for a second before beginning to head back to her room after the short walk. She's forced to pause however, as the same wound from before begins to hurt and sting her, the pain paralyzing her.

Ash went to bed exhausted from nothing in particular, hanging his suit beside Isaacsand crashing on his bed in a pair of shorts and a light grey beanie pulled just over his eyes.

Once she was able to move again, Katia checked on the chambers set aside for the servants given to her. She walked by quietly, glancing into rooms to make sure they were okay before heading back to her own room to settle into bed, extinguishing a few lights as she went, dimming the caverns, but leaving enough light to allow anyone who woke to see where they were. She curls up in the pillows, stuffed animals and cushions, then pulls multiple of her blankets over her for warmth before beginning to drift off to sleep.

Isaac woke the next morning well before dawn. He donned his suit and wing caps and smoothed down his bedhead, replacing the locket in his chest. Isaac went into the Dining hall fixing breakfast for the others before heading to the entrance to watch the sun rise as he often did, standing at full attention as the warm rays danced across his face. The air was cool and crisp and fresh and he relished the moment for a few seconds. He watched brilliant pinks, purples oranges and blues color the horizon before heading back down the hall oblivious to everything as he stood waiting for the Dragoness to awaken.

Katia soon woke, making herself get out of bed to feed her hungry stomach. She yawns, a small cloud of purple fog escaping her maw before she shakes out her few feathers and stretches, trying to wake herself fully before heading to the dinning hall. The wound on her right leg stung her again and she was forced to pause. Now looking at it there was a slight discoloration in the dark scales around it. She sighs, just another thing to worry about. She'd have to find something for it later. She walks towards a section of her chamber and faces the wall. She blows a small puff of fog onto it and it slowly melts away, revealing a large space where her hoard was kept. It was small for now, all stored within multiple trunks and shelves and wooden boxes, a few things sitting about the room in piles. She opens a larger trunk and begins pulling out gemstones and bits of gold. She chooses out a few pieces and then heads out of the room, the wall re-appearing behind her. She pushes aside the curtain used to separate her room from the rest of the caverns and walks out into the hall.

Isaac clicked his heels upon seeing her. "Miss, anything I can assist you with?" He asked his voice shaking slightly for fear he'd mess things up again. He wore a dark blue waistcoat today and put in his two lip piercings on a whim though regretted it upon seeing Katia, for fear he would seem informal or out of line.

"Oh, hello again Isaac." She speaks upon noticing him. "I was just about to go look for you. Here." She continues, holding out the gemstones and gold with a small smile. "For if anyone needs anything, just head into town." She instructs. "You have my permission."

Isaac gingerly took the treasure feeling rather awkward. He bowed deeply. "You have my utmost gratitude Miss. As you wish." He said his voice genuine and careful. He clicked his heels and began towards his chamber once more. Ash was draped over the side of his bed, his limbs hanging in awkward positions beneath his body. "Ash get up. Find Katia and she'll pay you. I'm going into town." He said sliding back into his more casual attire. Ash mumbled something unintelligible before dragging himself up. He didn't bother to change as he stumbled tiredly towards the dining hall.

The dragoness grabbed something small to nibble on, reflecting on the servants she had. The only reason she had them was because of her father and only that. Having someone taking care of her felt wrong in her mind.

Isaac donned his locket and began his walk towards the entrance of the cave system, his satchel thrown over one shoulder. Ash stumbled into the Drangoness before he realized where he was. "My apologies, I did not see you." He said kneeling before her. "I was actually looking for you."

"It's alright. I was going to give you something." She replies, holding out his portion of the gold and gems. "Take these and you have permission to go into town to get whatever you may need."

Ash took the the loot quite ungracefully and bowed deeply. "Thanks a million my lady." He said in a singsong voice. He trotted towards the entrance, still waking up and met Isaac. "Ready?" Isaac asked quietly. Ash nodded and Isaac took off flying over the snow, his fangs loose and free. Ash moved behind him, floating just over Isaacs over polished shoes. They reached the village quickly and parted agreeing to meet later at the town's square. Isaac bough a few sets of clothing, sketch books and a new story book for his shelf. As he made his way to the square he stoped to get fabric and a new golden hilted dagger. He met Ash in the square, his arms loaded with various bags and a oddly shaped sacks. Isaac smiled shaking his head as the boys looked over their things. Ash wrapped his things in a few wolf skins that had been sewn together to make a blanket and lay a silver board on the ground, floating above it with pride. Isaac packed his things away and headed back to the mountain, Ash in tow floating with a board attached to hos feet like an imbecile.

Orev, the small werecat boy, was sitting near the entrance, appearing to carve a small piece of wood with a small carving knife that looked new. He had a few things next to him that he had gotten himself, a bundle of nice red ribbon, a few more knives, a few new outfits, and a blanket which he was wrapped in. What was left over of his pay was in a small pouch sitting next to him.
