Shadow frowned. "So there's the catch." He said his face grim in thoughts of Day. He lost himself in his head thinking hard. His wing unknowingly grew tighter around Katia, his anger rising as he thought.

"Day'5 followers patrolthe entire area. We'll have to be careful..." Distortion speaks. Katia grew quiet.

"...Plan to take the risk? Or will you put it off for later, I'm curious." Kazia asks Shadow. Katia remained silent.

"Most likely never. I'd risk ANYTHING to help, aside from our lives and well being. I've done that one too many times. If she just gets too sick then we go but if it's all at least tolerable for a moment, then we stay and stay safe." Shadow said being snapped from his trance.

Kazia nods. "Alright." Was all she replied, outcomes spinning around in her head.
"If it comes too it, I can help... I know the area and those patrols very well..." Distortion speaks before lying down on the ground underneath him.

"Thanks. I'll keep it in mind. For now we focus on staying alive I guess." Shadow said smiling at the feathery demon kindly.

Distortion nods. "I Understand, I'd prefer not to risk being dragged back there myself." He comments, ruffling and shifting his feathers.

"Sounds like a plan to me." An all too familiar voice rang out. Riley stood at the entrance of the tent smiling her signature devilish grin. She had a few bound wounds but seemed in excellent condition. Shadow hung his head. "Just when I thought you had been eaten." He mused not joking at all.

Distortion growled quietly, currently very protective of katia and not wanting whoever he found untrustworthy anywhere near the area. Kazia listened quietly, and Katia's tail flicked as she remained quiet within her thoughts.

Riley punched him playfully floating around the area. "Calm down there fido I'm not gonna hurt anyone. Right now anyways." She sang with a devilish laugh. Shadow plucked her out of the air, jabbed her twice in a wound on her ribs and spun her arm around placing his foot firmly in the center of her back. "I asked you to leave." He said his voice low and tired.

Distortion. Watched the two warily, wanting Riley gone.

The girl struggled beneath his boot for a few moments before falling limp and dissolving into the soil. "Sorry about her." Shadow muttered wiping an odd reddish dust from the top of his boot.

"er...its fine." distortion replies quietly, resettling his feathers.

Shadow rubbed his red awkwardly coughing a bit. "Kat how are you feeling do you need anything?" He asked trying to relax a little to no avail.

"....No, I'm fine." Katia answers, sitting up on her cot with her blanket wrapped around her tightly
"You sure dear?" Kazia asks.
"Yeah" The half demon replies quietly.

. Distortion seemed to be shifting the patterns and make of the rug below him.

Shadow didn't buy it but didn't push the point any further. Instead he rolled about meowing boredly, his right ear beginning to leak a clear sticky fluid.

(bleh srry but skip plz, jus say Kat pointed the fluid out or somefin srry.)

Shadow shrugged wiping it away from his ear and neck. "How do you feel. I don't mean to be repetitive but I'm just concerned." Shadow said laying on his stomach.

"Better than before... Still weak, but better..." Katia replies quietly, shifting her wings around her. "Don't worry, I'll be fine." She continues, managing a weak smile to try and ease his mind.

Shadow seemed content with this offering a soft smile back. He then dove at distortion playfully trying to get him to wrestle or some such. Shadow had a knack for becoming bored incredibly easily. Thought he also did this to get a laugh out of Kat.

Distortion was confused at first but soon caught on. He play wrestled with Shadow gently, careful of his larger size, claws, and hooves.
Kat watched the two with a small smile.

Shadow seemed happy to have something to do.

"Be careful you two." Kazia speaks

Shadow rolled away from distortion laughing wildly. "You went easy though for the sake of my flesh I should be thanking you." He said trying to catch his breath.

Distortion laughed quietly, lying on his back on the floor. "Felt like I was being attacked by a toddler." He comments, laughing a bit louder with that thought.
Kat laughed quietly.
