Kat was quiet, but didn't seem to lose any of her joy as they floated.

Shadow released her and floated back to the ground. He floated silently watching her as he hovered inches from the ground. His vision began to blur and vanished as it had before. He said nothing only followed her with his ears, the water droplets guiding his smile as his eyes faded back to black.

Kat floated quietly, still struggling a bit to hold back tears. She moved agout a bit till she finally made it back to the ground. She wiped an eye with one of her jacket sleeves quietly before walking back towards Shadow, plushies hanging behind her.

Shadow turned his head towards her, offering a plastic smile. He reached out and poked her cheek cutely rolling through the air towards her.

Kat gave him a small smile back before sitting down amongst a few stacks of books along the tree line behind her.
The trees rusteled again, sending flower petals and buds floating down to the snow below.

Shadow curled up next to her now becoming very drowsy. He curled up not unlike a dog and wrapped his wing around her and his other around himself, resting his head on her leg.

Kat messed with his hair quietly, seeming calm and content. She hummed softly, leaning back against the tree behind her, resting her eyes.

Shadow smiled at her gentle touch. He had never known her to hum and it greatly amused him. "Usually I'm the one humming. You should do it more often." He joked lightly not moving to open his eyes. "I like it here." He whispered almost silently.

Katia paused in her humming to reply. "It's pretty nice.." she says quietly, thinking about her time in the strange place before going back to silence.

Shadow fell asleep, his head in her lap. His silent breaths were even and slow. Shadow mumbled softly in his sleep none of his words intelligible, though his body was relaxed and his wings drooping gently from their original place.

Katia watched shadow quietly, glad to see him again and heppy that he could sleep peacefully

Katia fell asleep after a minute, unable to stop herself. The world around stayed quiet for a while before beginning to shift dramatically. The trees grew taller and lush with green leaves, the snow disappearing and grass growing in its place. The sky became bright and blue, without clouds, and with a large, shining sun in the sky. The sounds of a nearby river could be heard, and the smoke from cooking fires could be made out through the gaps in the leaves above.

Shadow woke with a start feeling the shift. He ran his fingers through the lush grass, tugging on it gently. The air was sweet and he enjoyed the feeling of warmth all around him. The smoke was heavy on his nose though the sickly sweet scent was nice in his taste.

Kat remained asleep, leaning against the tree that had been behind them. The books that had been stacked around them appeared to have vanished, and trees had grown in the clearing that had previously been without gravity, and everything that had once been floating seemed to have disappeared. The wind blew through the forest, rustling trees and grass, and running through hair as it swirled through the air.
Something big passed overhead. A large, hulking body of polished golden scales and bright red claws flew through the sky on gleaming wings. The four legged being appeared to be heading near the cooking fires.

Shadow made out a silvery outline of the being noting its' direction. He sat up gently so as not to disturb Kat. Shadow walked about in the immediate area keeping Kat in sight at all times. He ran his hands along the the rough bark of the tree and other greenery in the area trying to memorize everything.

The land seemed different from before. No longer holding traces of Kat, but the aura of someone else, someone unknown. Katias sleep was strangely quiet, and her presence weak.

Shadow woke with the shift in mood. He sat up and was careful not to wake Kat as he moved. He wrapped a wing a little tighter around her torso feeling uneasy . Shadow stared out through the trees as if to find something that was lurking in the stangeness.

(Not stupid :P ive known that forever. But this school catches that. Had to find somefin else.)

(Story kinda veered off like a lot, wasnt sure what was goin on..)

A strange creature could be made out, lightly drifting across some of the land. It was small and resembled a cloud. Four slim legs poked out the bottom of the light fluff and walked over the grass, and it had a little head resembling a sheeps, but with big yellow eyes that didnt seem to contain a pupil. It nibbled at the grass quietly, a few more coming intto view around it. The sun seemed to blaze hotter still as time passed.
Kat's presence subtly weakened further.

Shadow nudged Kat softly growing more concerned. Though now he wasn't fearful of the creatures around him, he didn't like the feeling of Kat disappearing. He held her gently, most of her torso in his arms. Shadow was trembling slightly though he couldn't tell why.

She responded as she used to when stuck in a dream, but remained asleep. From the direction of the creature and the small wisps of smoke, a terrified scream tore through the air.
The sheeplike things began to silently but swiftly move away from the sound, passing by Shadow and Kat.

Shadow shook her more quickly, begging her to wake, his fears overwhelming him as the scream pierced his ears like a knife.
