Shadow remained curled up on the edge of the bed like a ferral animal, growling softly. He held his wings out until they ached.

nothing was there to acknowledge his growling.
However, a strange, tugging feeling began to surface, as if something was tugging at him, not physically, but him himself, who he was inside.
(Bleh srry, just got notified of this)

Shadow seemed extremely bothered by this, his chest beginning to twitch in response to the feeling. He relaxed his wings and wrapped them around himself protectively. Shadow remained there, twitching lightly, his growls having vanished though his fangs still bared in blind anger. "WHO'S THERE?!?!?!" He roared when he refused to acknowledge the feelings origin.

The feeling only grew stronger, now becoming oddly familiar. His vision began to blur even more, however, it was as if a clearer image began to for around him as something pulled him closer, as if an entire world, seprate from everything, was tugging his mind and soul into it.

This overwhelming sensation disturbed him to no end. He curled up in a ball on the edge of the bed, gripping his temples. "W-what are y-you doing to me?" He whispered blinking rapidly s if he could blink the feeling out of his eye like an eyelash.

Soon it was as if everything had faded and he had been left somewhere strange. The land around him wasn't cold, but covered in an odd snow. Trees grew around him, without leaves, but with scattered flower buds of pink with veins of purple and yellow. Snow fell softly and silently against a purple and black, sunless sky.

Shadow wished this was all due to his eyes and adjusting to them, but as he groped around desperately for the bed post he realized he had in fact been moved. He gripped at the ground and strained his senses to identify where he was. "H-hello?" He asked his voice sounding much weaker and more vulnerable than he had intended.

There was no answer still. Just the slight rustling of the trees from an unfelt wind.

"T-Time?" Shadow whispered his voice just above a breath. He Blindly stumbled towards the sound of the trees, hoping the cover would offer some sort of comfort of protection.

Small drops of water floated weightlessly in the air, coming from somewhere within the strange trees. The line of trees was thick, and the fowers they grew filled the air with a sweet yet soft fragrance.

Shadow felt much more relaxed in this place than before out in the open. He held his arms out in front of him, the water confusing him. This was unlike any place he had been. The sweet smell of teh flowers made him feel safe. It reminded him of Kat and the overwhelming feeling to dive into them took him away. He lie amongst the flowers breathing in the pleasant fragrance until his lungs were so full he could not expand them any further.

The drops of water continued to spread and shift out from somewhere within the trees.

The perfect peace that was veiled over Shadow remained and he didn't care to fight it. The smell, the gentle water droplets, the safe feelings pulsing from the trees, all made him feel pleasant. Each sensation reminded him of the corpse who had been beside him only minutes ago. "Katia" He whispered purely for the sake of hearing her name roll off his lips. Shadow said her name, sang it, screamed it until there was nothing else in his mind but her. She consumed his every breath, images of her smiling, sleeping, laughing, all flashed through his mind. In that moment everything was perfect. Everything, for once was okay. She was in his mind and it was all that mattered.

From deeper within the trees there was a slight movement, something watching. It felt the same as the world around it, as if they were the same.

Shadow welcomed this new movement, not daring break the peace. He continued murmuring her name softly now, speaking the name like a breath, as if it werewhat he breathed. He no longer strained his eyes to see, even allowing them to close as he sank into the peace.

A small form watched from under one of the trees, familiar yet strange. A little girl in a coat much to big for her, with long brown hair and familiar purple eyes. Tied to the four ends of the scarf she was wearing were four plush toys, two of which were totally unfamiliar, and the other two seemed to heavily resemble Ullr and Cinder.
In her arms she held another toy close, this one resembling Shadow.
The girls peered out from behind the tree curiously, blinking away a few left behind tears which floated out into the air to join the droplets all around.

Shadow felt the presence and sat up, leaning against a tree. He watched the small girl fondly offering a kind smile. "Katia." He whispered wondering if it was truly her or only a hallucination.

The girl blinked and stepped out from behind the tree hesitantly.
"H-.... h-hello..." she replies quietly, voice weak and small.
She messed with her skirt with one hand, and held the plush of Shadw close with the other.
"U-uh... are... you the one I- u-uh.....w-who I keep hearing...?" She continues quietly.

"Yes I suppose. I don't really know where we are or who else could be here so yes, I could say it was me." Shadow said his voice soft and kind. "Is that me?" He asked quietly pointing to the doll she was hugging, his cheeks growing into a light rosy color. Shadow could see much better in this place, the blurry white and black outlines now containing some color and and sharper lines.

The girl held the doll up in front of her, comparing it to Shadow. After a moment she grew excited and ran over, hugging Shadow tightly.. "it is you! I-I was starting to have trouble remembering...." she says, still holding him close.

Shadow held her closely tucking his head tightly into her neck, happiness washing over him in tsunami tides. He giggled lightly being able to hold her small frame so easily. "Usually you're quite a bit bigger than this." He joked lightly.

She giggled happily. "Yeah, I know.... I can remember." She replies softly.

Shadow held her in his lap happily. "So where are we love? I was just next to your body a minute ago...and now I'm here..." He said quietly not trying to sound rude or demanding.

"I'm not sure.... I've bee here a while though....." she answers quietly, pulling the ends of her scarf to her so she had all of the plushies near.
