Shadow makes the sandwiches and grabs some tea from the pantry as well placing them on the table sitting down himself. "You know...this is odd...I haven't eaten in months....and then its like...much less sitting at a table....willingly..." Shadow said a bizarre smile on his face.

kat sits, nibbling on her sandwich. "yeah, I guess it would be wierd." she says, thinking.

"That plus the fact that I'm not being chased...well...not that. I'm sure three and four are looking for me by now and you can't escape Time. He'll find me eventually." Shadow said his voice Dark. Three and Four would be there in two days time and Shadow knew it. Though he did not run, knowing there is no point outrunning Time. It's not possible.

Kat's just quiet, finishing her food annd sitting quietly, a bit of a gloom around her, a little cloud that had been with her since even before being left alone.

shadow finished the meal and stood clearing both of their places. "How about a walk?" Shadow asked hoping to shed some light on the darkness that seemed to encase the house.

"Yeah, let's go for a walk~" Kat says in a lighter tone.

Shadow smiled lightly and went through a closet by the front door. pulling out a dark grey, fur lined tail coat slipping it on. He extended a darker purpleish one towards Kat. "You want one? It's negative 13 tonight.

"Yeah, thanks~" She says, taking the coat and slipping it on.

Shadow walks outside and begins walking along the treeline, the distance from the house making it seem small. The cold air made him smile and it was snowing lightly. The feeling was welcome, a sensation that was real and intense and not trying to kill him. A beautiful neutral force. "I like it out here. I've always liked the snow." Shadow said as his fell into his hair making it seem grey blue with white spots. Shadow turned his face towards the sky as they walked catching a few furry white flakes on his tongue.

Kat smiles as well, just seeing Shadow smiling made her happier. "The snow's always been special for my family. I used to love playing in the snow, and my sister came from the snow so..." She comments quietly.

"Hmm." Shadow said feeling rather at peace. "So just by the way, I know like nothing about you. Like I know the bad stuff at least a little and I know how you act but...I don't know your favorite color...or that you had a garden once a while a go...and I don't know what you do for fun...." Shadow rambled not seeing an point to the conversation but enjoying the random thoughts that bubbled into existence.

"My favorite color's purple, I did have a garden, but it was destroyed by Mothy shortly before I met you... And I like to read, write, and collect random stuff mostly, like the blades in my room.~" She answers happily, turning to him. "Anything else?"she asks lightly

"When's your birthday?" Shadow asked continuing to circle around the house. Sunny had joined them a  While back and was now trotting happily behind them.

"January fifth, when's yours?" She replies.

"I dunno." Shadow said his happiness not wavering. "Sometime in May. My mom never told me I don't remember or something like that. If I celebrate I celebrate on the 31st. I'm pretty sure I'm around 17 or 18. Something like that." Shadow explained easily. The concept wasn't difficult but did add to the list of strain when it felt the need to.

"Ah, alright~ I'll make sure I remember it." She says, thinking how she could never remember anyone's birthdays.

Shadow smiles and kicks at the snow as the circle back around towards the front. "I think I've taken all I can. you ready to head in? Im about an ice cube now..." Shadow said edging towards the house.

Kat wraps a leathery wing around him to help keep him warm. "Sure, let's go then." She replies, not really feeling much of the cold herself, but knowing that he didn't like it.

He gratefully walked in shaking at the same time Sunny did unknowingly, both intending to get the snow off of everything.

Kat walks in calmly, tucking her wing behind her back as much as possible

Shadow turned on the fire and sat in front of it humming with a childlike fascination as he stared into the flames.

Kat sits down by him, watching the fire as well. (srry 4 teh crappy post >.<)

Shadow pulled his knees to his chest. "You know Three and Four are coming for me. They're not gonna be happy." He said tiredly. "They won't kill me and they shouldn't mess with you but...I guarantee you whatever they do it's not going to be fun." He continued.

"i know, and I dread it... I can't stand you getting hurt... But there's never anything I can do..."kat says quietly, her wings wrapped around her.

Shadow laughed dryly. "Right back at you." He joked. "I think we have roughly two days. Maybe less. "
