"I'm alright.." She answers quietly, though the pain in her head had increased.

"Just hang in there." He said squeezing her hand. "SO where do we find Kaz?" Shadow asked still eyeing the flying demons wearily.

Kat just nods.
"Over there I think. Near the bridge on the far side of the city." her sister replies, beginning to figure out which route to take. "Just follow me." She finishes, beginning to walk down the hill.

Shadow followed diligently and kept an eye on Kat constantly as they went. A creeping feeling shivered up his spine as they moved closer to their destination.

Kat's siter takes them inside the circus grounds quietly, noting that most of the torches were out as most of the cast was asleep. She leads them to Kaz's tent and shifts to her smaller form, keeping the wolfish appearance, and pauses for a second, picking up muffled sobs frominside. She cautiously pokes her head inside the tent. "Kaz? You alright?" She asks gently. Inside Kazia was crying in Jokers arms as he held her lovingly, trying gently to comfort the upset seer. She didn't have heer scarf, and instead showed the horrible old burns and scars that were around her blinded eyes and across her face.
(bleh)

"What's going on?" Shadow whispered curious as to what was going on. He instinctively held Kat's hand a little tighter as if the sobs emanated from her rather than the tent.
(Short post is short and crappy)

""Just a bad dream..." Joker explains to Kat's sister. "Give her a little while, okay?"
She nods and leaves the tent, turning to Shadow.
"We just need to give Kaz a little while..." She says shortly. "Which is alright, because we're safe here." She adds in a lighter tone.

"Ok. Yeah sure we can just hang out." Shadow said his tone lightening as well. "So is everyone asleep or are they to lazy to light the torches?" He asked remembering them being lit last he was at the fairgrounds.

"Most are asleep. They keep the torches lit when they're awake, and put them out when they sleep. Gives them a sense of some sort of time." She answers, eyes following Ram, who was currently patrolling the grounds.
"{eople here actually take their jobs very seriously..." Kat adds quietly.

"I see. That makes sense. And yeah I bet they do. this place is probably all they know." Shadow said replying to Kat. He spotted the Ram kid and watched him intently. "Isn't that the human kid who wears the ram hat?" Shadow asked the ram seeming familiar to him.

"Yeah, He's Jokers apprentice. Wants to be demon more than anything..." She answers as he walks out of sight.

"How did he even find this place. Humans are generally blind and arrogant enough to think this kind of thing doesn't exist..." He asked still confused.

"He had been tracking Joker for a while apparently and came to his annual show up top... He avoided the slaughter and apparently begged to become his apprentice... Everyone thought Joker was just going to kill him but he took the kid in.. Though some say the kid gave his soul to him in exchange for the chance." She explains.

"He sold his soul to be a demon. What a fascinating story. I'd like to talk to the kid. " Shadow said catching another glimpse of him. Shadow yawned softly and peeked inside the tent a little. "I think we might be here for a little while. Mind if I sit down and rest my eyes a minute?
' He asked quietly.

"Not at all, I was just about to say something." She replies, sitting down to rest herself. "And he honestly doesn't talk much... He's become rather quiet..." She adds

"Well what could one talk about when he is but a shell of a man?" Shadow asked sitting. he closed his eyes and drifted of into a dreamless sleep.

A while late Joker exits, nodding to let Katia Know that they can go inside. She stands and nudges Shadow and Kat gently. "We can go see her now." She says.
Inside Kazia had her scarf wrapped about her as usual now, and seemed to be back to normal as she sat in her usual spot, her stitched on smile hiding any lingering sadness.

Shadow got up immediately and went in. "Hi Kaz." Shadow said trying to be polite.

Kaz nods to him. "hello Shadow~ I knew i'd see you soon." she says. (darn it! Ur keepin me awake XD)

Shadow stepped back a bit nudging Kat forward a little so her sister to explain what was going on because honestly Shadow feared something like what happened with Twelve would happen here if he didn't say just the right thing. He felt cowardly doing so, but he didn't feel he had another choice.

(lol twas alright! XD) she steps forward. "hey Kaz~ long time no see." she speaks, giving the similar demon a hug. Kaz genuinely smiles and returns it. "but, er- we have something important to discuss... Kat's been stricken blind and well we don't know what to do..." Some of Kazia's fur bristles, and she just looks ahead. "how did this happen?" the seer asks.

Shadow paled. "uhm...er...I saw some nails...in her back....I took one out and....she went blind..." He explained nervously.

Kaz is quiet, thinking. "can I see the nail?" she asks.

Shadow gently led Kat over to Kaz, pulling up her shirt in the bakc and pointing to the nail. "There are six. But for some reason they can't see it...except the top one, the one i pulled out and put back in again." He explained.
(Bleh)

Kazia gets out of her chair and walks over to them, then she stands on her hind legs and runs a claw over the nails. Kat winces when she touches the first one, but still doesn't react to the other nails. "hmmm... They feel like... They're linking something to her..." she says before swiftly yanking the top nail out agaiin with two claws. "and this is doing no good linking her with a dead soul." she adds a bit bitterly. Kat pulls away, reaching for the hole left where the nail used to be, obviously hurt by it's removal. (I FINALLY GOT TO CHARGE MY PHONE!)
