Shadow shrunk back in his hoodie. "Sorry." He whispered. He sipped the last of his coffee and set the mug down on the porch beside him, the steam wafting off the still warm mug. He nudged Distortion playfully. "So whats your story dude. All I know is your name really." Shadow said wrapping his wings around himself.

He shrugs. "It's nothing much. Raised solely in the demonsplace, helped control my brother. used to fight a lot in the arena, wanted power. skip foreward a bit, and here I am~ I gave up that life once It became wrong to me. Now I just stick with working for Nor and helping out that little group that you probably noticed back by the arena." He says simply, leaving obvious gaps in his story.

Shadow scoffed. "Probably noticed? There were more people surrounding you than there was actually at the arena itself." Shadow said laughing a little. He popped his neck and his knuckles absently as the snow let up and the sun began peeking out. Shadow smiled up at the sun. Something that hadn't happened in several hundred years. The sun burned his skin though only a bit. He welcomed the warmth and pulled in his wings. "I haven't seen the sun this way in years." Shadow said dreamily.

"Same. Makes me wish I could live up here." Distortion says, returning his gaze to the sky once more.

"I do need to get inside. I tend to burn. I'm not a vampire or anything, but when you stay inside for a long time, it makes your skin solaphobic. And you burn." Shadow said standing a bit and slipping on his sunglasses, feeling much less self conscious. He nodded to Distortion flashing a full fanged smile before going inside.

Distortion nods before heading out into the snow, planning on keeping his word and watching the house. Inside Ram had taken off his mask again and was lying on the floor, staring at the ceiling, several other masks lying around him. Joker seemed to have gone into another room for themoment, and Alyss was still asleep at the bottom of the stairs.

"What's with Joker? He seems a little different the past few days." Shadow asked sitting by ram watching him curiously.

He sits up. "He's been having trouble because of the blood..." He says simply. "It's enough to mess with any demons head... Patchies especially." He says, picking up a black and gold bauta mask.

"What are you talking about? DO you mean yesterday?" Shadow asked beginning to feel guilty about causing so much trouble the past few days.

"The whole time he's been here." Ram explains, setting the mask back down. "...You know half-bloods... they're like..." He begins before deciding he should just shut up.

SHadow nodded trying to put the pieces together. "If he need's blood I have some deer blood in my freezer I was going to ship to my uncle but if he wants some he's certainly welcome to it." Shadow said leaning back against the wall, his skin still warm and slightly burned from the sun. HE ran a hand through his hair. He was still pulling bits of died blood particles from betwixt his hair though he didn't mind. He had no one to be formal for. He set his mug on the kitchen counter before returning to his place near Ram.

"Thanks, but he doesnt need it. " Ram replies. "He just needs to get the scent out if his nose I think." He says with a shrug.

Shadow grunted, too lazy to say anything else on the matter. "SO what's with the masks?" Shadow asked gesturing to the various masks scattered about the floor. He planned on trying to speak to everyone today but he still felt rather thick in the head. As if a cloud had become trapped within his brain cavity and was making it hard to form a full thought. The main cycle of things was Kat, Joker, Ram, Distortion, Alyss, BS levels, Silas and back again. His hand casually drifted up to the two slightly lighter spots on his neck where Silas had attacked him and his fingers found the rim of his glasses and then the stitches in his eyelid.
(I think...maybe....silas is going to...casually..make an apearance.... >:D)

"oh, well, uh. I make them. It's kinda a hobby of mine." He says, picking up a purple and blue mask. "Want to try one on?" He asks, notsure what else to say.
(omg XD and dont forget distortion! (who is totally not sitting on the roof atm))

(OF course not. can I just say this is not the first person you have left on my roof. Not including the fact shadow was on a roof when he found Kat...katie I think we have a roof thing...)
"Sure." Shadow said feeling rather strange with the thing on his face. He blinked at ram through the mask hissing for fun and the sheer oddity of the thing.

Ram laughs shortly. "Nice. " He comments with a light smile. Joker walks back from part of the house, smiling at the two.
"Found a playmate Ram?" He jokes, picking up a mask and looking at it.

Shadow takes off the mask smiling up at Joker, wordlessly adjusting his glasses. He nodded, "Yeah I guess so." Shadow said flashing another fanged grin.

Joker nods, setting the mask he was holding back by Ram. " Anyways kid, how yah doin?" He asks, sitting down..

"Tired. I'm worried about Kat still. I'm also worried about my.....Silas. And If he'll make another appearance. And I imagine he wont do it alone. I'm wondering if I'm paranoid or if I can actually hear wings....I can never tell..." Shadow said studying the pachies face trying to figure out the point of return.

"I have confidence that things will work out. And remember, you've got me, Ram, and Distortion here to fight for you guys" He says before standing again. "speaking of the guy, I want to ask him something." He says before walking outside.

Shadow nodded though he didn't feel much safer. Silas had fighters numbering over 40 and none compared to any of the people around at the time though in such numbers they could be overpowered possibly. "I'm gonna go check on Kat."Shadow said getting up. He went into his room crawling across the bed and poking Kat's cheek playfully. "How you feeling love?" Shadow asked, his tone soft and sweet. He was sure to keep his glasses in place as he spoke to her.

She jumps, having been curled up under the covers, a bit scared since she had been left alone. She coughs a bit, the sudden intake of breath hurting her a bit. "A-alright." she coughs out.

"You want another vial?" He asked quietly taking his glasses off. He couldn't see with them on in the house though he figured it was better than her seeing him like that.

She shakes her head, starting to sit up slowly. "No, I think I'm fine for now." She wheezes, pushing some of her hair out of her face. "Just got a little scared... How is everyone? I hope they're not still worried...." She continues quietly, now sitting up fully. Unknown to her, part of her shirt had got caught on one of the nails in her back, revealing several new ones scattered across her lower back.
