Shadow follows not minding the cold a minute, even whistling in defiance of the cold demon. "I like that one. I should go back sometime. Give her a hug. She just needs a hug man." Shadow said sarcastically. "Mono's the last one right?" Shadow asked following Joker with a smile on his face.

"Mono and Astra." Joker answers, letting go of his arm as they returned to where Pyro was laying on the ground, blowing lazy wisps of flame into the air.

"Which one is less likely to kill me?" Shadow asked popping his neck as he watched Pyro warily once more. Somehow almost all the people around him played with fire and it truly dumbfounded him how anyone would want to be anywhere near it, in any way shape or form.

"Astra, but we'll get to him when we leave. For now we should see if we can find Mono." Joker says as Pyrophobia got up and stretched before shaking out his coat and sending embers flying around him.
"Alright then let's see if old Mono's here." The phobia says, stretching a bit more. "How was your chat with Pago? No one died so I guess it went well?" He chuckles, spitting a small flame into the nearby ice.

Pyro begins to lead thrm further into the labrinth of tunnels, the population of Phobias seems to decrease the further they went. Joker hummed lightly as they walked.

Shadow followed feeling at ease with Joker's calmness and nonchalance. He began drawing runes on his hand bordly hoping Mono wouldn't be to bad of an encounter. Shadow once again reached for the locket that wasn't around his throat and sighed nervously when his hand came up empty.

They reach a stretch of tunnels and caves that appeared abandoned. "He should be around here somewhere... Good at hiding though, so keep an eye out." Pyrophobia chukles as they continue down the winding tunnels and reach an intersection of empty paths." Here's around where he sleeps." He says, looking diwn all three paths agead of them."I suggest staying close to eachother."

Shadow eyed the walls of the cavern wearily keeping close to Joker and Pyro, as much as it was against his better judgement to be that close to either of them. He could hear Pyro hear though he heard nothing from Joker and freaked out a little before remembering he was a patchie. He chuckled to himself softly annoyed he had gotten so scared so easily.

"Alright, let's begin looking." Joker says, picking a path and beginning to head down it.
"I'll check this way." Pyro speaks, beginning to head the opposite way with a small laugh. "Mono~ You there brother? It's been a long time since I last say your face." He speaks into the darkness, his body lighting up a bit more to help him see, and a few small flames lighting on his pelt.

Shadow went down the third hall staring into the dark for a moment before his eyes adjusted once more and he padded timidly deeper into the hall. "Mono? Monophobi? I'm here to help someone, I'm pretty sure you know...though...only if I'm not just talking to a wall...." Shadow said treading quietly deeper into the tunnel.

The tunnel was very very dark, and the rock was rather jagged. The whole tunnel seemed to be cloaked in an eerie silence.

Shadow pulled his hoodie around himself wishing he had his lighter though he didn't feel particularly cold. He pulled out his cell phone using the dim flashlight setting to look around. "Anyone down here?" Saadow said his voice louder and more demanding.

There was a dim light now visible towards what appeared to be the end of the tunnel. With the light, jagged patterns could be seen in the walls.

Shadow jogged towards the light, hope overwhelming his thoughts as he moved his feet faster towards the brightness.

The tunnel ended abruptly, opening out into a larger cavern. In the center of it appeared to be a pile of cushions and scraps of fabric and clothing, feathers and fluff. from the center of the ceiling hung wires, and illuminating the room were countless souls hanging from them, trapped within jars covered in seals. along the walls on shelves carved into the walls was an assortment of random objects and even more souls.

"Mono? You in here my friend?" Shadow asked looking about the cavern curiously, trying to get his wings to relax as his instinct was to fly to the roof of the cavern and look around better. "Hello?" He asked his voice firmer and slightly shaky.

There was nothing but silence in the cavern. From behind Shadow, Joker's voice traveled down the tunnel he had come down. "You dead yet, or is he not there?" He calls.

"I don't think he's here.." Shadow said startled by his voice behind him. He turned blinking several times, his eye aching as he made out Joker's silhouette.

"Ah, well I guess we'll have to try some other... Time..." He speaks, coming closer before appearing to notice the souls. If he had eyes he might have looked at them hungrily, and a pained whine escaped him when he forced himself back. "Come on, let's... Leave..." He speaks a bit weakly, fighting instinct and trying to get away from what was going to drive him mad with hunger and greed. Being around Shadow was okay, but the mass of souls was too much.

Shadow yawned figuring something about the room had set him off and considering the souls were truly the only thing there he tried to put those pieces together as they walked back down the cavern. "You know his marks? Like the summon thingy?" Shadow asked not wanting to come back unless entirely necessary.

"I could... Probably figure them out but, without the second step it's rather useless... Summonings take more than just the circles." Joker speaks, seeming to get better the further from the room they got.

"Fascinating. How does it work then? That's all I did when I was calling Kat's sister and she came..." Shadow said walking closely to Joker, zipping up his jacket though again it wasn't particularly cold.

"We can tell when our marks are drawn by someone else, kinda like a warning before being summoned. The second part of a summining changes from demon to demon. Many have poems to recite, some want blood or sacrifice, others want fire, etc." joker explains with a shrug. They're things we're born with and learn or know, and we make sure to keep that information to ourselves unless we give others permission to summon us." He continues with a shrug.

"Oh...I see. Yeah That makes sense, Kat's sister almost ate Cori once. Was quite a laughable display." Shadow commented putting together the pieces. "And I think I remember her saying she had just seen the markings though I don't think she was actually summoned in the form of the word I guess." He said running a hand through his hair. HE felt more comfortable around Joker at some points,, points like these when they were just talking like this, as well as the fact that he didn't think Joker particularly had eyes to see the stitches in his own eye that made him self conscious around other people.
