"Come on, let's keep trying. We have the whole demonsplace to check. I'll even get the murder to start searching for her once this fog clears." Distortion continues softly, patting Shadow's shoulder gently. "We can never give up till we find her. That would get us nowhere."

Shadow nodded slightly, shakily getting to his feet. He went back into his blind anger trotting ahead of Distortion sniffing in the various scents about the area much like a hound.

There still wasn't much to take in as they seemed to wonder aimlessly through the fog. The large demon was becoming a bit frustrated, his feathers puffing up as he sniffed around. He slowed a bit and grumbled, unsure of where they were exactly now. He takes another sniff of the air and his feathers ruffle further. "Shadow, come here." He hisses quietly, moving closer to the boy. Another pair of claws could be heard walking along the stone as if there was no fog. An oddly soothing voice hummed, feminine but deep. There were no words to it's song, but it filled the air and seemed to speak on it's own.

Shadow heard the voice immediately growing close to Distortion. He whiffed the air grimacing as his breathing became labored. He gripped his chest willing himself to cooperate just enough to stay quiet.

Distortion moved to pick up Shadow up again and placehim on his back as the voice grew louder and began to speak. "Distortion~ Diisssttoorrrttiiioooonnn~ I'm back dear, did you miss me?" It cooed in a soothing voice. The larger demon flattened his feathers and began to back away through the fog, though was unsure of where the voice was coming from.
"Now is not the time." Distortion spoke under his breath, something that the she-demon seemed to have picked up on.
"Oh it seems to me like the perfect time. the fog is out, and I know how much you loved the fog. And so many things have been happening dear~ are you blind to them all?" She speaks with a small laugh.
(Erin I just almost cried over an episode of MLP. I feel stupid XD)

Shadow strained to see through the fog and the voice became faintly familiar though he couldn't put the voice to a face. He held his pocket knife, the only weapon he always had, drawn in his hand. Shadows eye turned dark purple with strands of bright red. His entire body screamed murder. He could only pray that Kat was with her and Creacher wasn't nearby.

Distortion just quietly moved away from the voice, not making a sound and moving as swift as he could.
"Not going to reply? oh come on, you still wont even talk to me?" The voice continues, still sounding near. "Not even when I did nothing wrong. When you caused this." It continued, anger building in its words. "YOU DID THIS TO ME YOU SPINELESS WRETCH AND I WANT YOU TO KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO GO ON WITHOUT THE HEART YOU STOLE. TO SUFFER AS I HAVE SUFFERED SO." She began to screech loudly, a form bounding out of the fog. She was about the same height as distortion with long wretched feathers in all shades of dark red. She was a quadruped, with sharp claws on the end of each leg, and long fanning feathers along each arm. Her eyes had been messily sewn shut along with what appeared to be an impossibly large smile stretching out from behind a large beak, held together with tight bands, though she appeared to have mostly torn through them in order to get her speech back. She hissed loudly, charging, and Distortion took off quickly into the fog.

Shadow dove at her head on gripping whatever flesh he could with his fangs as well as slashing at the air. He laughed wickedly spitting his blood at the demon.
(Oh shadow. Your stupidity never ceases to astound me.)

She laughed joyfully as he only ripped out stitches and damaged the bands around her beak further. She didn't mind the blood at all, but the stitches were proving a problem recently.
Distortion quickly sprung forward and snatched Shadow, shifting into his larger, more bird-like form wildly before trapping the boy within the cell he had been held in not too long ago. Te she-demon took the opportunity and got a solid hit in, tearing at Distortions side as she tried to pin him down. He quickly distanced himself from her and started running through the fog, hooves loudly clacking against the stone underneath him and blood pouring from a deep gash in his side.
"Please think next time Shadow! That was stupid and now we really are in danger." He scolds.
The she-demon's screeches could be heard coming from behind them.

"She must be taken. Killed. Slaughtered. She must be taken. We must go back." He whispered his head dancing side to side as more blood came from his lips, dripping rhythmically on the cell floor.

Distortion reached inside himself and gave Shadow a sharp whack before closing up the bars of the cell on his stomach. "Shut up and don't even move." He replies sharply, still running for both of their lives. He sniffed the air frantically, and caught whiff if the city. He quickly changed directions and ran towards the general area where it sat, gliding a little above the ground every now and then.

Shadow tumbled over laughing a bit quieter than before. The rhythmic tapping of his blood on the floor of the cell sent a sort of hypnosis over him and he tapped his fingers on his head, running one hand through the mat whilst the other played a blind tune.

Eventually he ducked between the nearest buildings and began weaving through the nonsensical paths within the city, using his nose to find a specific spot because of how the fog blinded him. He ran into a few of the stone structures, hurting him further as he searched for his safe spot in the city. Eventually he crashed though two large and thick wooden doors. They had been half open before he ran through them, two small humanoid demons having been pulling them open before he crashed through them. Distortion quickly got up and slammed the large doors shut, pulling what looked like the trunk of a large tree across the doors to hold them shut. He coughs up Shadow roughly, not caring to be gentle this time, and begins shifting his form back to normal, the gash in his side only appearing bigger as his form shrunk.

Shadow laughed wildly as his body was wracked with pain. He vomited blood once more rolling about in the sickly fluid. Shadow finally stood, trembling violently, his laughter still echoing about the room.

Distortion sighed as the two small demons who had been watching the door ran up to help him. They were the two small girls who had been seen with the demon before. Both looked nearly the same, wearing identical clothing and having their hair pinned up on opposite sides. The one which appeared older however wore a tattered and rather revealing version of her younger sisters dress, which was long and frilly, though a bit tattered as well. They both held either end of a long black ribbon, binding them together in a way. The one who appeared a bit older ran to another part of the room and grabbed a few larger scraps of old cloth, then came back and pressed them on Distortions wound, though this didn't help at all. The large feathery demon just held a talon over part of the long gash trailing down his side. It was obvious that it was beginning to pain him greatly.
The younger watched Shadow with empty eyes as Vengeance could be heard ramming into the door and screeching wildly.

Shadow took a flask from his shoe and pulled off his shirt with ease. In any normal setting he would have never taken off his shirt before this group of people. But in his haze of blissful pain and blood, he hadn't a care on the matter. He ripped the stitches from his eye, procuring a rather long bit of cord as he had stitched everything completely shut with great care. He stumbled over to Distortion trying to middle his laughter. He had put his jacket back on but the torn skin from taking off his shirt and the gash that had reopened on his side still sat for everyone to see. His many thousands of scars rested on his ribs and just over his hip bones, obviously continuing down to cover the bone. "Move kid." he slurred trying to atone for his stupidly in some part of his mind that wasn't surfaced right now.
