Shadows ears began to ring as the deafening silence made him dizzy. He breathed in heavily through his nose trying to dissect the scents about the area.
(-_- it's her dad isn't it. It had to be her dad. The enormous gaseous red eyed super intimidating demon thing, the one thing shadow probably can't fight, took her. -_- well played >:3)

(hehehe)
there were many scattered scents, though most were unfamiliar. a few were recognizable from the circus, but were faint.
(bleh, srry. but these two don't leave traces of themselves ;3)

Shadow roared in anger gliding down to the ground. The adrenaline began to wear off and his chest pounded, once again bringing him to his knees. Blood coated the inside of his jacket and the scars on his legs burned worse than every part of him. He broke again, running about with his wings stretched out, sniffingthe ground like a ferral wolf. His fangs hung all the way out sitting in old punctures in his lips as he ran aimlessly through the fog.

He eventually ran straight into Distortion, who's feathers puffed up as he growled in surprise before realizing that it was Shadow who had just ran into him. "Oh, uh... hello." He says,sounding a bit confused, his feathers smoothing down slowly.
(Distortion likes to wander around in the fog lol.)

(It only makes him more adorable :3)
Shadow growled pouncing on Distortion. He gripped his feathers holding onto him tightly. Shadow glared into his beak with his fangs bared angrily. "Where. Is. She." He whispered his voice dangerously low.
(Aw shadow that's cute you think your intimidating to someone more than double your size.)

"Uh... who?" The demon asks innocently, not seeming phased by Shadow's behavior other than a mild curiosity. The feathers that Shadow held fell out easily, new ones already taking their place as Distortion ruffled his coat a bit more and created more.

Shadow scrambled to hold on to Distortion not breaking his menacing glare. "Kat. Do you know where she is." He whispered his voice even quieter now. His fists clenched and unclenched repeatedly and his eye turned completely black.

At this he seemed to get a bit worried. "Isn't she with you? Or Kazia?" He asks.

Shadow released him growling. "Obviously not or I wouldn't be talking to you." He spat bitterly, his knees beginning to shake. His hands trembled and his spine grew weak though he stood looking blindly in the fog.

"Come here, you're going to hurt yourself." Distortion speaks in his usual quiet tone while taking a step forward and gently scooping Shadow up. "Just tell me what happened and I'll help you in any way I can." He continues, setting Shadow on his back.

Shadow squirmed trying to get away from him. He spat blood into the air as he struggled, constantly keeping his side hidden. "I'm fine! You may help but I can stand on my own two feet." He mumbled still trying to squirm out of his grasp. Blood dripped from his moth and his teeth were tinted red making him seem even further from himself than before.

Distortion only tightened his grip and held a large talon over Shadow in a fist larger than the boys head, and covered in tough scales. "Calm down and stop struggling or else I'm going to have to knock you out." He warns simply, feathers ruffling a bit in concern, though they just made him look larger and more intimidating. "Uh, tell me what's happened calmly, then I might let you go if you don't hurt yourself more." The large demon continues.

Shadow hissed in anger as he held stole finally. "My heart is fucked up and I couldn't breath and my chest got screwed up ok? She came to get me and this claw thing half the size of her body took her away! Now let me you you insufferable prick!" Shadow roared beginning to struggle again.
(Shadow is upset.)

Distortion tightened his grip in warning. He could crush the boy in one talon with ease if he wanted too, and wanted him to know that. His struggling was becoming annoying to him. "Describe the thing please. I'm not sure how to help you if I don't know what took her..." He says quietly.
(Shadow's starting to get to him and he's starting to get upset because of the news that Kat's been taken by something o.0 Distortion is quick to fall to anger.)

(Shadow is also very ill atm. This will be interesting.)
"Creacher! It was with creacher and another thing. There were three. I saw character and the claw and was faintly aware of the third. Let me down! Please I-" Shadow said before heaving violently, he wretched repeatedly as blood poured from his lips, leaving him weaker than before. From then he dry wretched gasping for air.
(Yeah he was in bad condition when this started...if he doesn't find her soon, and you and I both know he won't stop until he does, he could be...uhm...er....overwhelmed I guess?)

Distortion loosened his grip, but still didn't let the boy go. He growls shortly in annoyance, thinking about the information given. "That still doesn't give me much..." He says more to himself as he watched Shadow and shifted a few feathers on his side with a claw, then turning them to cloth and ripping them off his side. He shakes it a bit, turning it into a black rag, then offers it to Shadow gently to clean himself up a bit. "Sorry about not letting you go but. You always run off."
(hehehehe ;3)

Shadow shook his head. "No. Thanks but no. There's no time. I know the scents but I need to find itt." He hissed, his hands trembling in fury.
(Bleuh short)

"I could help there then. Just don't run off. You're an easy meal for any demon around right now, and you wouldn't want to get hurt too badly or die right? Think of how much you already make Katia worry." Distortion speaks, trying to make sure his words reached Shadow as he began sniffing the air and the ground. "If you wont run off I'll let you go. I can help you find them but I need all four legs." He speaks further.

Shadow nodded somberly. "Okay just let me down..." Shadow said his voice growing shaky and dangerous much like in his home as he painted the walls screeching gaily.

"Okay I will. just stay on my back." The demon replies, setting him amongst his ragged feathers before beginning to move forward, sniffing at the air and ground while making his way through the blinding fog.

Shadow grumbled quietly, muttering about being treated like a child and how he would move quicker on his own. Though he wanted to murder Distortion now it was purely because he saw him as an obstacle rather than an aid at the moment.

The demon moved as swiftly as he could in the fog, but didn't seem to be having any luck, as all the muddled scents about them were unfamiliar and strange no matter where he went. His feathers began to ruffle and puff up in annoyance, frustration, and worry.

Shadow eventually hit his point in which waiting was more painful than moving about and trying to do something despite the awful pain him his chest. He leaped off of the demons back trotting about nearby. "NOTHING! AFTER ALL OF THAT! AFTER EVERYTHING I'VE DONE TO KEEP HER SAFE EVERY GOD DAMN PROMISE! EVERY TIME I WAS NEAR DEATH, BROKEN BLEEDING DYING, AFTER ALL OF THAT, STILL THEY COME AND THEY TAKE AND THEY TAKE AND THEY TAKE! AND THIS TIME I CAN'T FIX IT I CAN'T FIX IT I CAN'T FIX IT! AFTER EVERYTHING STILL I AM NOT ENOUGH! AND JUST AS I GOT HER BACK! I JUST...I just want her....just want her to be okay...to smile when she breaths, when she feels that she is alive....I just want her to feel happy and safe and good....I want her to see the beauty and perfection that she is to me...but now...now that thing has gone...and taken her from me...again..."he yelled and screamed beating the ground and clawing at himself before falling to his knees with his head in his hands, his voice a pathetic shivering whisper.

Distortion walked up slowly, sitting down nearby. "We will find her. I understand what you feel, but try to channel it to help you. It hasn't been long, judging by the situation I give it at least a week, two with luck." He speaks calmly, a few unhappy memories being dragged up in his mind from his words.

Shadow wanted to protest or say she might not be alive in a week or even in the next hour. But he only shook his head as the trembling began to fade slightly. Blood stuck to his tank and his jacket and he knew it would be a pain to take off. He also became self conscious of his calves, shifting positions to hide the ugly scars.
