Shadow broke down in tears calling out for help, for Kat, as the chords bit into his skin blood beginning to stain his shirt. "Let me down please!! What did I do?!?" He cried like a little boy, his voice now scared and alone, one that would make anyone shudder in pity.
(I would care you know that right?)

Katia struggled against Distortion, even clawing and bitting at him in a feeble attempt to be free. "Katia, leave him. Somethings wrong." Kazia spoke over the noise.
"BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO HURT HIM." Katia yelled over her.
"Well I'm sorry but this was the only option I had, but you need to calm down!" Joker began through the noise.

Shadow continued to struggle and mess with Katia's mind with his faked pleas for help. He needed to get into her head before he could do as he had planned.

"Please just let him go, can't you see he's he's hurting, he's on pain just stop!" Katia cries still struggling against Distortion.

Shadow fell limp hoping the stillness would stop the pain. "What is it? What can I do to get down from here? Please...I'll do whatever you want." He said his breathing labored and raspy

"we're not letting yout go till we know what's going on dear." Kazia speaks. Katia continued to argue against them, pleading for them to let Shadow go.

"Well what the hell is going on? Everything was fine a minute ago!" Shadow roared. a small silver chain gently swung from his pocket as he cried out. He began struggling again his hoodie being effectively shredded.

"Were not sure what, but I'm sorry, with everything that's been going on recently were not taking chances" Kazia speaks.

"TAKING CHANCES WITH WHAT???" Shadow screamed staring into Kat again. The silver chain seemed to simply reach down to the ground with each passing moment.

Distortion noticed the chain and grabbed it withone of his large talons.
"Were not sure ye-"
"THEN LET HI'M GO" katia cut off Kazia with a hurt and angered yell.

Shadow egged Katia on, delving deep into her mind with his eye. HIs blood dripped from the floor and he cried out in pain over in over again pushing her further and further. "P-Please...let me down...." Shadow said his voice weak and pained. The silver chain seemed to loose it's gleam as Distortion touched.

Katia continued to scream, tears rolling down her face and joining his blood on the floor. Distortion tugged the chain.

Shadow screamed with her and began struggling again. The chain seemed to be going on forever. AS if his pocket was endless.

Shadow disappeared and in his place an inky blackness filled the room. Then nothing. There was only darkness and air. Shadow's voice could be heard far in the distance crying out for help. THere was a hard ground of stone but no particular light. Though his did not mean it was hard to see, everything was clear but the terrible awful agonizing darkness could eat at ones soul. Petrify ones mind. A soft chain like sound came from the same distance as Shadows cries, and his screaming intensified.

Katia finally broke free of a slightly stunned Distortion and frantically stumbled towards Shadows voice.

With every step a faint music grew luder like that of a fair ground. Lights of a fairiswheel shone through the dark along with various other ride looking contraptions. Shadow's screams intensified as she grew closer the chain sound now rythmic. Every few moments a clash of the chains would sound followed by Shadow's voice.

The sound of chains threatened to paralyze Katia, but she ran through it, fear and worry and an endless pain filling her heart.
Her friends attempted to chase after her.

Soon enough the fairgrounds in all its glory was unveiled. Tents of every color size and shape. Vendors of every kind and rides enough to last a lifetime. IN the middle of all of this was Shadow. A cage suspended by seemingly nothing dripped blood over a mansion that towered just below it. A hearty laughter filled the grounds. "WELCOME TO THE DARK CARNIVAL FRIENDS I'LL BE THERE IN A MOMENT!" The voice bellowed. THe chains and Shadow's cries were now skull piercingly loud as if broadcasted over speakers. No one walked the grounds, the desolate nature foreboading and eerie.

Katia weakly took flight, desperatly trying to reach Shadow, while distortion ran about trying to find her. Joker had stopped, trying to comfort Kazia, the chains and screaming atop the fairgrounds getting in her head and causing her to suffer.

Shadow was chained by his wrists, forced to stand upright. His wings were tattered and bleeding as well as the rest of his bare torso. It was as if he'd been thrown in a blender. Dark shadows darted about the cage seeming to be whispering. Shadow mumbled deliriously his eye rolling around in his head. When the chain like sound intensified the shadows would dart at the boys torso and Shadow would cry out wildly writhing as his skin sizzled and tore.

Katia desperately clawd and pulled at the bars of the cage, though her mind screamed at her to run, to stop, tohide from the cages and chains much like Kazia. Distortion spotted them and shifted form, and now resembling a large bird he flew up to the cage, landing atop it and attempting to rip open the bars with his strong talons, something that was generally an easy feat for him.

The darting shadows vanished with a low rumbling growl. Shadow saw Kat and his eyes bugged out. "KAT RUN!!! YOU CAN'T BE HERE HE WILL KILL YOU FOR KNOWING ME GET OUT OF HERE!" Shadow roared straining as far as the chains would allow towards her.

"No way, we're getting you out of here!!!" Katia replies stubbornly as Distorting broke the chains holding shadow through the massive hole he had easily torn in the cage.

Shadow fell to the base and screamed as each of his wounds was disturbed. He moaned again and again for Kat to run. The darting shadows returned with a wicked sounding laughter. They moved about everyone, leaving gashed on anything they touched though they were much more shallow than before.
