"wait for my sister to wake up I guess. What do you think?" she replies, still wrapped up in the blanket. (bleh)

Shadow nodded. "I Haven't got anything better to do. I'm...content." Shadow said trying the word out himself. He reached around and gently touched his back. "Hey...no blood! I guess the curse is...expired?" Shadow said surprised.

"really? That's great!" she says happily, the good news bringing more light to her eyes. (bleh)

Shadow smiles a bit still confused about why the curse stopped working. "Yeah. " He said wrapping the blanket around himself as well. "Are we on a mountain or something? Why's it so cold up here?" Shadow asked.
(Bleh)

Katia shrugs. "i don't really know actually, it's just the spot above my dad's. It's always been this way." she replies, giving him half the blanket.

Shadow wraps the blanket back around Kat. "Got my own love. And Yeah ok. Cool. Literally." Shadow said as he began laughing hysterically at his own awful joke. He tried muffling hi laughter under the blanket though it didn't work well.
(Bleh)

Kat laughs lightly at the joke and Shadows actions, feeling carefree.

Kat stands quietly, and places more wood on the fire before returning. " It wasn't safe up here until we found my sister actually... A lot of the nastier demons lurked around here, and some still do, but she keeps them in check." She says, beginning to get a bit lost in thought. "She's a high-rank you know. Stronger than most." Katia adds, reflecting on her own measly rank. Though it didn't really bother her as she didn't fight anymore.

Shadow scoffed. "Rankings in Bygons are in five levels. Hybrids, Loopers, Conductors, Skippers and the council. The council is hell so I can imagine why the other demons keep their distance." Shadow said remembering the displays at the annual meetings of the bygons in September. "Speaking of the Council. I have to attend a meeting. It's an annual thing." Shadow said. "You could come if you wanted to. It's no fun. They usually recite some history from the tunnels, the progression of population. Statistics and then they kill a few people, criminals against Council law, to make sure everyone knows they have all the power and great authority blah blah blah." Shadow said boringly.

"sounds like when my kind goes to war or tries to organize something, but we don't record history, and the killings are random and just to say "If. you. dont. shut. the. hell. up. and. stop. fighting. amongst. yourselves. that. will. be. you." " She says, doing an impression of her father, changing her eyes to red and her hair streak to black while using her blanket as a cape.

Shadow her impression. "I'd say you're good at that but last time he was anywhere near me I though he wasn't trying to kil me with noxious gas." Shadow said scratching his neck. "And Yeah it's pretty awful. But the upside is there's this huge ball At the councilmen's house and there's this little gazebo in the back and my mother used to take me out there. She taught me how to dance and how to love the stars and the moon. A lot of times I would be really upset, from seeing them kill the people. Right there in front of the people. It was awful and she would sing to me. And it would be better. If there weren't a party afterwards, I wouldn't ask you to such a dreadful thing. But....never mind." Shadow said holding the last of his thoughts. He hadn't ever danced with Kat. Or sang in front of anyone. He wanted...he wanted her to...he wanted someone to witness his emotion. The real emotion that wasn't what was simply outside of his voice or his laugh and his smile. He ended up thinking, imagining dancing with Kat under the gazebo. Under the moon. In the sweet silence that was the peace of quiet.

"Yeah, he's rather intimidating... And I'll come, sounds interesting to me." Katia replies, mind beginning to drift. "Though this time I need to know more about what to do. We don't want any more mishaps." She comments.
Her sister shifts in her sleep, snoring a bit.

Shadow nods more than is necessary. "Yes of course. I'll have to teach you the recession. And I'll have to make you a dress..." Shadow said blushing slightly. "Yeah I know how to make a dress. Don't question me. I will eat you." Shadow said jokingly poking her stomach. "I'll have to go into town. I need to redye my hair too I'll get shot with this." He said running a hand through his hair again.

"Alright~ sounds like a plan." Kat replies cheerily.
Her sister stirs slowly, rolling over and rubbing her face in her pillow before turning to look at them drowsily. "Meh, er- good... whatever time it is..." She says quietly, yawning.

(Shadow:)

"Morning." Shadow said with his rare one fanged smile. "Sleep well?" He asked kindly.
(IT'S NOT MY FAULT HE'S A HORMONAL 13 YEAR OLD ON THe INSIDE ok yes it totally is shut up) (so sorry for late reply I thought the thingy went through. :/)

"yeah, I had this odd dream. And I was this cool bat and I was flying around with my friend this cool dragon thing." she mumbles quietly, petting zey and sitting up. "also, you know you guys make an adorable couple right?" she says with a smirk.

Shadow blushed hard. "You....yed....hchduh" Shadow stumbled on his words not able to make a good comeback. Eventually he just signed ok at her waving it madly a fake scowl on his face. He was not one to discuss things as such though he agreed with her immensely.

Kat blushes brightly at her sisters words but doesn't say anything.
"Hahaha! you guys agree don't you?" She giggles. "Anyways, If you guys want some tea there's some over by the fire. Oh, and I recommend not going outside for a bit." She continues, petting zey again.

Shadow continues to stay quiet on the subject. He pulls his knees up to his chest resting his head on them. "Yeah ok thanks for the tea. And I should be heading back home pretty soon." Shadow said quietly. "I gotta get some stuff to make a suit an a dress." Shadow said begrudgingly a if he dreaded the task. He claimed a mug of tea and sipped it the warmth of the beverage carrying down through his chest.

"No problem, and you're free to use any of the fabric and tools I have here if you need to~ Oh! and here, I made some stuff." She says, getting up and returning with two boxes in her hands. She hands one to Shadow and one to Katia. "Here, I hope you like 'em" She finishes.
"Thank you! You don't know how much this all means to me." Kat tells her, giving her a hug. "I'll visit as soon as I can, okay?" Her sister nods happily.
