Kat takes his hand and stands shakily. At this point kat's sis speaks up from where her and distortion were standing outside the doorway. "you sure you're alright, sis?" she asks,. Kat nods. "yeah, I'm okay.."

Shadow relaxes abit after they exit and he begins actually to smile. "So do you wanna go home or what do you wanna do love?" Shadow asks not sure where to go from there.

"I'm tired... I think I've only had four hours total of sleep maybe...." She mumbles quietly, not caring about how her tail and wings were mostly dragging on the ground.

Shadow chuckled at her a little. "As for everyone else, I truly appreciate your kindness and patronage towards me. If you any need anything at all, please feel free to give me a ring. Thanks." He said sincerely. With that shadow picked Kat up, his elbow under her knees and broke a pearl under his foot. 
Shadow carried Kat upstairs and tucked her into his bed. "Hey, I'm gonna go reinforce the barrier. Just for some protection. It'll just take a minute. Ok?" He said quietly.

Kat becomes scared again, and it showed through her tired eyes.
"C-can you stay here?.. er, just for a little bit?.." She asks, scared of being left alone again, her fears only haven gotten worse after being in isolation for those few days.

(Katie....that....was....both hilarious...and utterly logical.....in the same sense...its disturbing and inappropriate......you has no idea how happy you've made me....) "IM TOUCHING THE BUTT

"Yeah, yeah sure. Anything Kat. Just go to sleep love. You need it." He whispered in her ear. Shadow climbed into the other side of the bed wrapping his arms around her. "I'm not going anywhere." He whispered.

"Thanks." She says, holding him close and burying her face in the front of his shirt, calming and already beginning to fall asleep.

(is it bad that I knew half of that list from spending the night at my sisters house and simply observing the everyday life of my two nephews and my niece?)

(Katie seriously I need to finish these refs so you can do a sketch of them. THis is to much XD)

Shadow smiles to himself as he watches her drift off to sleep, her face peaceful. Once he determined she was well asleep he carefully peeled himself away from her and snuck out of the room. He padded downstairs and grabbed a small black bag and ran outside. He sprinkled a white powdery dust all around the house and the stables muttering in tongues, encantations of protections and barriers until he had made a complete circle around his land. Anything with bad intentions in mind would be burned as if acid had been poured on their skin.

Kat sleeps far longer than normal, shifting inbetween nightmares and periods of actual dreamless sleep.

(Actually that'd be error 404 my friend)
Shadow returns to bed falling asleep himself not realizing how tired he had been after the fight wirh the werecats. Between random dreams he would awake and look over Kat to make sure she was still asleep and well, not anywhere where his dreams said she was.

(I realized that after I posted that and just kinda died inside >.<
now i must go die some more
*goes off to yarn corner to die*)
Kat wakes up suddenly, coming back to reality from the middle of a particularly bad nightmare. She takes in her surroundings and tries to calm herself, mumbling quietly to herself that she wasn't with Day, and she wasn't with Creacher, Changeling did not have her trapped, King was dead, and she and Shadow were safe, and far from their reach.

Shadow had been awake as well. "Hey, we're ok Kat. Nothing can hurt us. No one can get to us here. We are safe here." He soothed gently kissing her forehead. Shadow did not relish Kats nightmares but the familiarity brought him an odd sense of comfort.

"Sorry again..." She apologizes, feeling bad that she may have woken him, but feeling happy to be back by his side.
(bleh)

"Wasn't asleep. But you need to be. You need the rest." He said quietly settling down once more.

"I'm fine for now though..." She says, feeling better now that she had finally gotten some sleep.

"All right so...do you want something to drink or eat? What now?" Shadow asked, quietly stretching his ankles.
(bleh)

"I don't know, but I'm a bit hungry. What do you have to eat?" She asks quietly.

"I dunno lets go look..." Shadow said scratching his head. He got up out of bed and walked downstairs and dug through the pantry pulling out some bread. "How bout an old fashioned PB&J?" Shadow asked laughing a little.

"Sounds great to me~" Kat replies, trying to hold her new wings up comfortably instead of just dragging them around.
